Feminists like to equate the odds of being falsely accused of rape to the chamces of being struck by lightning. If true, this guy just got struck by lightning three times. "Young man cleared of multiple false rape accusations at trials this summer"

Another female college student charged with filing false rape report. Probably why feminists want schools to handle things. Lying to the police has consequences.

Well that can happen with the lightning too if they all know each other or heard about each other through the media.

Absolutely disgusting and those 3 girls should have their names on the sex offender registry so people know never to get involved with them.

In total, Suthers would spend nearly 100 days behind bars for crimes that juries found him to have not committed.

Edwards says that after many stressful and sleepless nights.

Between the two cases, he faced not just a maximum of 72 years in prison, a likely life sentence, but also would have been required to register as a sex offender.

So he was imprisoned in a guilty-until-proven-innocent manner as he was immediately considered a threat to society despite no proof being put against him at the time of arrest. Ended up spending 100 days while facing life in prison charges which would seriously screw up his psychology and mental health.

And the prosecutor doesn't even address the struggles that this young hero against the tyranny that is feminism endured:

We’re going to continue to protect the most vulnerable citizens of our community, those being our children. We are going to do that aggressively, but fairly and within the bounds of the law. We appreciate the courage that is displayed by every victim that comes forward and goes through a very difficult process in the legal system. We express our gratitude to the individuals that investigate cases and the prosecutors that spend a tremendous amount of time working on these cases knowing that they are amongst the hardest types of cases to get guilty verdicts

Unfucking believable. He should sue to receive mental health treatment for life from those families committing perjury at a minimum.

(prosecutors that spend a tremendous amount of time working on these cases knowing that they are amongst the hardest types of cases to get guilty verdicts). It sure sounds like they are taking a jab at the victim because they couldn't get a conviction. They don't give two shits if he was guilty or not, they just want the "win".

[–]Azuzu88 22 points23 points24 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

When asked about the case the prosecutor just talked some shit about protecting children and thanking investigators. Let's not worry about apologising to the young man that was falsely imprisoned for 100 days. There really should have to be compensation in these cases.

[–]xdzgor 14 points15 points16 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Why no compensation, and why no prosecution of the false accusations?
Maybe this guy and a couple of friends should accuse these women of rape and get them locked up. Natural justice.

[–]asiwaritXR 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

yeah, but thanks to social justice that's a one-way street.

[–]Living-Reference5329 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Because “ prosecuting false accused stops “victims” coming forward for fear of not being believed”

[–]McFeely_Smackup 11 points12 points13 points 4 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

Feminists like to say "only 3% of rape accusations are false"

I like to say "if only 3% of rape accusations were true, we'd still care about rape. we wouldn't just say 'a little bit of rape isn't worth worrying about' "

[–]reddut_gang 25 points26 points27 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

people don't realize 90% of cases are inconclusive which means they could be real or false.

[–]mikesteane 6 points7 points8 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

That having been said, there is no question that all three accusers in this case lied.

[–]reddut_gang 4 points5 points6 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yeah, I'm just countering the bullshit narrative that 90% of rapists get away free.

[–]sgt_oddball_17 4 points5 points6 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That prosecutor is a Horse's Arse . . .

[–]Lasttoflinch 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The prosecutor will be singing a much different tune if he's the one on the receiving end.

[–]whereisourequality 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Happy for this guy but you already know the psychological and emotional impact has already damaged him to some extent. His life still won’t be the same again.

[–]quietlurk10 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Very weird how once you take all these cases off of Facebook and Twitter they totally fall apart.

[–]380-mortis 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

I mean, some dude got hit by lightning 7 times so you’re not really invalidating anyone’s point, not saying feminists are right but this doesn’t prove feminists wrong at all as this is 1 case.

edit: if people are curious the name of the guy who got struck by lightning his name if Roy Sullivan. 6 of the strikes happened in 8 years.

[–]sgt_oddball_17 6 points7 points8 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Even if the Feminists point was true, people stay indoors for good reason when there is a lightning storm, despite the low odds of being struck.

[–]andejoh[S] 5 points6 points7 points 4 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

And I've never heard anyone say don't worry about getting hit by lightning because it's so rare. They always say don't stay under trees, etc.

I guess if it was just one, but

https://www.foxnews.com/us/five-high-school-mean-girls-targeted-boy-with-false-accusations-of-sexual-assault-lawsuit-claims

There was another guy too. He was accused by like 13 girls. They found out 3 were conspiring against him. I don't know what happened to the other 10 and don't remember his name. Maybe some one remembers.

[–]McFeely_Smackup 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

6 of the strikes happened in 8 years.

at a certain point you gotta ask if you're doing something wrong.

[–]Maldevinine 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

If it's the guy I'm thinking of, he worked as a park ranger in an area prone to lighting storms. He wasn't doing anything wrong, but he was definitely at a far higher risk than most people.

[–]qemist 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Most false accusations are made to the accused in the hope of extracting something from him. If he doesn't cave they usually give up, only a small minority will double down and go to the police with the story.

[–]HPUnicorn 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Here is my take on the whole lightning analogy.

"What are you chances of being raped"

Rape is defined as sexual contact without consent of the person.

Well there are probably billions of people having consensual sex each year and there are probably trillions of consensual acts taking place. This means that if you have 1 million non consensual acts of sex you are still only likely to be 1 in a million (or less) of being raped.

P.S. I made up the number to show how this would work.

[–]Living-Reference5329 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Honestly. I spent 2.5 years in prison. Because of a false allegation, I phoned the police to report a false allegation while the lass was still with me. And they still beloved her. Even with the mountain of evidence against her, the police simply said ( and the prosecution said this to me during trial ) “why would an innocent person phone police? Only a guilty person would to cover there tracks, “ you couldn’t even make this shit up
