Always just cringe at it, kinda funny, besides if women run the world then they can take the blame for the shit in it, no? I say embrace it, deflate the "the world suck because of men and would be better under women's leadership" Crowd.

Besides does similar empowerment even exist for guys? Closest type of stuff i can think of is songs being all "I am badass" not "Guys are badass" (rap, rock and metal have a bunch, but that's always about the individual not their gender)

Absolutely. Perhaps it’s because nowadays people would rather engage in the same actions as their “oppressors” but forget those who don’t learn from history are doomed to repeat it. Maybe when the male suicide rate skyrockets even further, Western society may need to take some time to reflect, hold themselves accountable and take some action about how men are now being treated as women have been before. Two wrongs don’t make a right and we as people need to be better.

I recently watched The Suicide Squad and whilst it was largely bizarrely entertaining, it was also occasionally reeking of the same radical feminist absurdity that has also invaded MCU movies and series in recent times. The entire sequence of Harley Quinn escaping from captivity at midway is just revolting. She didn't take a single hit, a single f\cking hit! At least in Birds of Prey her character and combat was largely grounded because she did take hits in a realistic, reasonable manner. It's much more than that! You can count on fingers how many female characters were killed in that film. But the male characters? Good luck counting those dear, undoubtedly in the hundreds.*

I'm not just nitpicking this one film. I'm mentioning it because it's the latest one I've seen this year so far. I've seen only three films on the big screen this year: Godzilla vs. Kong, The Conjuring 3 and The Suicide Squad. The third one is the worst in its treatment of Men.

It's become so rampant and commonplace that we, the general population have gotten so used to it that it doesn't seem alarming or offensive. But this time, I was genuinely moved and pissed and offended. After some critical thought, I've come to the initial realization that only Quentin Tarantino makes egalitarian films. What do you fellow Men think?
