This girl hits the nail on the head with so much of what's wrong with modern/third wave feminism. She identifies as a feminist yet doesn't hold back with her criticisms of it in this era. While I still think it shows obvious favoring with the name itself, it's nevertheless refreshing to see a feminist who's willing to take a stance against the extremist sects of it. Bonus points to her for not resorting to the usual feminist terminology like patriarchy, rape culture, etc. knowing the typical third wave feminist they'd probably accuse this girl of having internalized misogyny or being brainwashed by the patriarchy (their favorite boogeyman to blame all of their failures and shortcomings on). I definitely wouldn't take such issue with modern feminism if the movement as a whole was represented by people like this girl, but the movement has largely been contaminated by third wave extremists who hate anything and everything with Y chromosomes no matter what.

Thought I'd share this article, it's a good and refreshing read. I still think the word feminism itself shows obvious favoritism towards females, but nevertheless, very refreshing to see a feminist call out the BS and hypocrisy of the modern movement and promote genuine equality.
