The Individual Differences Research, or IRDLabs.com, has a fairly balanced test on attitudes towards various strands of feminism; to better understand this community, I want to ask: how do you rank?

You've got a broad spectrum of MRAs, and a narrow selection of feminists there.

There were quite a few questions that I agreed with in principle but disagreed with in premise like this.

Ended up 80% Liberal Feminist which is fine by me. A lot of neutral response meant everything else was pretty low. Lots of stuff I don't really care about?

Sorry but the questions are awful. It presumes a truth and simply asks if you agree with said truth or not. It doesnt define said truth or ask if you think said truth is in fact a truth. They also seem incredibly one sided and it is quite clear which side of the table the questions were written by.

Edit: separate but related, we appear to need to have a discussion about definitions, or at least the terms we use. A few years ago we were (rightly) having the distinction between sex and gender reinforced. Presently however, we are discussing things like the 'gender' pay gap and how it is sexist. This doesnt make sense given the definition of the terms, and if we are to.make arguments for the existence of a pay gap, surely any discrimination present would be on the basis of sex rather than gender? Maybe a little pedantic but this seems to.me to be something that needs to be revisited. Unless of course the recent quietening of the gender/sex distinction discussion was deliberate in an attempt to amalgamate sex and gender into one thing...which they are not

I'm 73% Liberal Feminist and 56% Marxist Feminist. It shows a fair proportion of the other three as well, but I think a lot of that has to do with the way some questions are phrased, making presumptions that I don't agree with in the first place. Based on the descriptions of the philosophies, I disagree or strongly disagree with Traditionalism, Radical Feminism, and Cultural Feminism. I strongly agree with Liberal Feminism, and have some agreements with Marxist.

I hate those things. There are always issues with definitions and I'll-formulated questions. Beside, I'm only question 3, and here's a question on trumps politics. I'm not from the US, I am not familiar with it. I guess the "this questionnaire is available in different langages" was a nice intention. It's the intention that counts, I guess.

"is it hypocritical for feminists to ignore the middle east" ... I don't really know. I wouldn't wish feminism on even them. What do I say?

"in the west, gender equality has been reached". Well, obviously no. But I fear they will count that as a feminist answer, rather than an answer saying "what about MGM, LPS, DV,...? There are many areas where men are disadvantaged".

They ranked me at 72% for traditionalist views (which was briefly surprising, but then made sense, since they presumably correlated acknowledgment of biological gender differences with espousing traditionalist beliefs, which is kinda dumb), at 74% for liberal feminism (not at all surprising, since I'm all for equality of opportunity and all that jazz, and in theory would want to agree with "feminism just means equality" people), 13% for radical feminism (ha-ha, presumably because acknowledging structural differences contributes to this score?), then 19% and 14% for Marxist and cultural feminism (don't ask).

P.S. Do we know of any similar tests for affiliation with the various stages of men's movement?

Test is shit. I got equally traditionalist and liberal feminust but I'm neither, I'm an egalitarian and support individual libertarianism within reason.
