A lot of our current world problems are literal first world problems that can only exist/ matter because most of our other needs are met. So no petty issues like third wave feminism would vanish as food, water, shelter, security all become paramount.

One of the main reasons feminism is strongest in western countries is because feminism is a luxury.

Artificially advantaging women in job hiring(aa), advantaging women owned businesses, and other such artificial advantages for women are economic inefficiencies only possible on countries and times that have the wealth they can afford such inefficiencies.

I saw the trailer for The Last Man the other day. I couldn't help laughing. In the trailer, suddenly all men die from some disease, and one of the first scenes after a woman informs the other women that "all the power plants are down!"

How they managed to get this through is beyond me. YES! If all men suddenly died, most infrastructure would fail catastrophically fairly quickly. But a newly produced series where this is admitted? I'm impressed.

Have you not yet understood that the real problem is gynocentrism, and that regardless of whether feminism exists or not as a movement, society will still be gynocentric even in your scenario - i.e. redistributing resources to women. Always look at the root of the problem, not at the symptom.

Feminism didn't really exist until the enlightenment at best, and more in earnest after the industrial revolution was in full swing.

History has shown matriarchal societies has the same gender roles imputed onto men and women, because with bronze age technology and the needs of a civilization settling down to form cities needs them.

You don't see egalitarianism in historical societies unless they are a).small and/or b) nomadic, regardless of which sex was calling the shots.

Feminism is at best formalizing the lack of a need of the previous arrangement, but in earnest looks at cherry picked history through a contemporary lens all to square the circle of their unfalsifiable premise of Patriarchy^TM.

Suffice it to say, no, you wouldn't, or at least the most successful communities wouldn't have it.

Feminism is important in some parts of the world. However in most of the western world women and men are equal so it irrelevant in these countries.
