My friend is having her first date with a guy she met on OLD. I know FDS doesn't support old so I definitely reminded her this but she doesn't have many dating experiences and so she wants to try and meet guys to get comfortable with the idea of dating in general.

She's shown me their conversations and it doesn't seem bad so far. He planned the first date and is asking her what she thinks. The idea is that they get lunch together and then head over to a night market. The guy is a photographer and suggested he brings his camera and show her how to use a camera and take pictures at the market.

I thought the date idea was cute but didn't think it was necessary for a first date. I did let her know to maybe just get lunch and split from there. I didn't think they needed to spend a whole day including going to the night market.

What does FDS think of this? Did I suggest the right thing?
