Hi guys , What's your opinion on lack of diversity in male lineages compared to female lineages ?

This is due to historical patterns of war where the winners tend to kill the men of the opposing side, while women were more often spared or raped/ taken as wives. It has nothing to do with men's/women's righs/privileges in my opinion - it's primarily the biological differences between the sexes that have caused men to be more active as war fighters throughout the history of humanity.

Many people mention rape as the main reason for this disparity. I wonder if they are basing their data on any evidence at all, or just hearsay. Because I would be willing to bet on the fact that many raped women chose to fall down a flight of stairs, drink alcohol or even kill themselves, or the child they bear, in order to avoid having to parent the child of rape.

What I believe would be interesting to investigate is how this disparity changed, if at all, since women's liberation, and the availability of assisted abortion.

Polygamy due to war deaths and hypergamy. Women were ready to share top 1% than choosing bottom 20%.

Cuckoldry was and is a huge threat to men. I think 30% of all paternity DNA test results proved cuckoldry, in USA. 30% is HUGE.

Did you ever think about that more female lineage is the consequence of women dying in childbirth and related causes?

Men who could afford a family/marriage married women and these women had one kid after another and then often died very young. What did the man do? Marry again, another young woman who then took care of his existing kids and then had some more……depending on time/Place it was not so seldom to go through 2-4 wifes.

Plus depending on the society they lived in, men could have several women at once and have kids of all of them or they took lovers outside marriage.

A women’s value to society has never necessarily been intrinsic. Historically women’s value in society making children which is hardly intrinsic. The reason women always appear to be valued is. because they always could have children or they were already mothers. Both of which have value to society. It’s only a recent occurrence that humans build an excess. Before it was a fight to survive, people could only get the bare minimum to survive. getting a numerous next generation was basically a numbers game because lots of children died young. Much like other species it was important to have many children so that a few would make it adulthood to ensure survival. Because of a lack of medicine, shelter, protecting, among other things continually making children was a very valuable thing.

While I don’t think that men have been “historically previlaged” they most definitely have had the upper hand in society for the past thousands of years. Maybe up until the last 10-15 years. I don’t really see a point in trying to contest that. Overall it doesn’t really do much good at all. And it would be far better to focus on the state of men in our current society.

Absolutely I coundnt agree more. My moms died when I was really young. I was sent to live with my aunt and uncle in Mississippi while my father was incarcerated for his role on her dissapearance and death. The entire time I lived there, the word "LOVE" was removed from my vocabulary, from my soul. By the age of 15, my uncle had all but beaten it out of me, burned it outta me and molested it outta me. It was a hot day, I remember it feeling so hot outside, as I stood just east of the garage in the shadow cast from the house. I thought I heard a scream as I drew nearer the front porch. Now, I could clearly hear rustling and activity as I approached the old screen door that was literally hanging on one hinge, being slammed so often by my uncle. Cans, void the Budweiser they had been full of littered the porch, having to kick a few aside myself as I reached for the front door to intrude. I dont know if was the smell of stale beer and sweat, or the iron from the amount of blood that was now dark almost purple as I noticed the stains all over my aunts dress, her standing and sobbing, beaten and bruised above what clearly had been my uncle, now deceased. As she saw me, she ran into my arms, collapsing at the same time. What in Gods name happened Arianna is the only thing that my mind could conceive to ask her as I tried to maneuver her weight onto the Davenport, next to the credenza. It honestly was no matter now, I already knew in my mind what had happened. Together, the both of us had been discussing what to do the next time either of us was physically, mentally, emotionally or sexually abused by uncle Jeff. Naively, we had hoped that we would both be present when and if there every was a "next time". Thank you for reading.....if you read this far, I truely thank you. Women have value to society because they literally make all the people. That doesn't make the privileged. There is nothing privileged about having to bear a child.
