As a woman, if a man isn't facially attractive then I'm not that into it. It makes sense for men to care more about body because it shows potential for childbearing but what evolutionary purpose/advantage does possessing facial attractiveness serve? The only thing I can think of is girls want guys to have nice faces because we have to look at it all the time when we date them and girls usually want relationships. Maybe if we mate with a guy with a nice face our babies will be extra cute and prompt us to care for it more? Do you have any insight for why men focus on body so much and why women don't?
