Is this the person you would marry RIGHT NOW? (even if marriage isn't your goal) If not, what would be different in a couple of years?

  • Picture your relationship right now and consider your smallest and biggest struggles so far. Now multiply this struggle by say, threefold at least. That's what your life in the future is always going to look like at some point. Everything CAN and WILL get worse aside from all the good things you'll do with each other. Is this the person you would marry right now?
  • Picture yourself in a couple of years in the dream you so much envision. It's likely that you'll do your best to maintain a happy relationship, but will your partner?
  • Picture yourself in the (far) future. Would you trust your partner with your kids (even if your wish is to be childfree), or would you be afraid of them teaching the kids something wrong? You shouldn't think only of correcting the damage that's been done to them, but also of dealing with your partner. Would he apologise furiously and continue being High Value, really? Wouldn't he have lost your respect from the moment he decided to fuck up what YOU find important?

YEET, I say YEET that person who does not respect what you find important.

YEET that person, because they WILL risk pushing what they find important over your bare back.

FIND that person who would walk through fire for you, and not because they're a senseless puppy, but because they deeply care about not only you - but what you find important in life.

A Low Value Partner will care about you only because they care about themselves. Ask the right questions and you'll find out.
