I always recommend women under 25 avoid men over 25. It's a predatory behavior. An uneven relationship. Your boundaries are weaker. You have less life experience. And they leverage that against you.

Sounds like you need to reread the manual. Asking you on a coffee date, being five years older, and sponging off his parents are all deal-breakers you should have blocked and deleted him for before ever leaving the house! (Re: the age gap five years MIGHT be okay in your thirties or forties but at twenty one you should be dating people 2-3 years older max.)
