Well if women acted like my male friends than yah I could be friends with them. Would I put up with a man telling me it's my own fault if I'm single? No. Would I be friends with someone who calls me immature and can never relate to me or my interests? No. Hell I can't even say they're nice people doing me a favor trying to hook me up with their friends or something so even if we're totally different people I'd defend them whole heartedly.

You know the interesting thing is, I’ve, as a woman, said I don’t really believe that different genders can just be friends always without an attraction/crush/love at least on one side at some point. I also don’t really believe in being just friends with an ex like your brother and sister. And I get backlash equally from both men and women. I don’t think there’s anything wrong that people get naturally attracted to each other; it’s literally nature. Not because we’re horn dogs and it’s not to say every man is attracted to every woman he comes across and vice versa. But the potential is there for most of us. We’re just innately built for attraction to the other. Creeps are a whole different story. Creeps are people taking it too far, especially when you’ve made it clear that you don’t want it (for both men and women) and are not AT ALL leading them on.

I legit have a female friend I’ve been talking to for years and it hasn’t escalated anywhere beyond platonic companionship - like a sibling relationship at the very most, but we are not friends because one of us is attracted to the other, we are friends for the same reason that two guys or two girls are friends.
