As of right now, a woman requires the opposite gender for no reason besides reproductive purposes, and of course the financial status of her mate would be her own with marriage, however women can be lonely as well, so emotional support and/or fulfillment would be why. Same goes for men, except it's harder for men to receive sexual release due to the rape accusations and emotional attachments that come with it, as well as a fear of leaving her dissatisfied. Neither sex needs the other. I believe that children do better with two parents so other than getting 50/50 custody laws changed will allow men to stop the worrying about losing their children in divorce/breakup.

I think women are just different. Especially their brains. Even the story of adam and eve.. Eve didnt listen, ate the apple. So if your religeous, even god portrayed men smarter.

They never think logically, so they are all different but also the same.

In my opinion I think women need men more than men need women. Especially in the ever changing technology, soon men would rather watch vr porn with their life like vagina toys without being bothered by a woman asking for help to do random shit every 5 mins she could either do herself or never should have started (back to thinking things through again)

For example, when a man climbs a ladder we always look to see what we may fall on in the event we fall and move the ladder. A woman will just climb the ladder.

Another example. A man is moving drugs across town. He notices he has a headlight out. He replaces the bulb or calls an uber. Same scenario involving a woman, she sees the headlight is out and drives it anyways thinking even if she had gotten pulled over its just a ticket.

In that last scenario the man 100% avoided being pulled over and removed the possibility of arrest with little to chance. The woman leaves a large percentage of her decision to chance and doesnt consider things like, maybe a k9 unit pulls her over, maybe the officer finds her behavior suspicious, searches her car, maybe the missing bulb caused someone to hit her and the drugs becomes a pain point, or becomes exposed during a crash.

I watched my son grow up and seen how he learns from his mistakes and doesnt make the same mistake twice, (usually)

On the other hand My daughter will trip over the same shoe for the rest of her life; instead of moving the damn shoe.

Men dont need women, they just want them.

Women NEED men. (With the exception of the ones that can repair their own vehicles which is like 2%)

A lot of it's subjective. A vulnerable girl that's been through a lot, is maybe a bit frail, might need protection due to the circumstances she's in, she could have an ex that's stalking an threatening to kill her.... There is no need for the other. Plenty of people live single and very happy never needing a member of the opposite sex.

When I lived alone (best years of my life) If I didn't know how to do something I either paid someone to do it or used YouTube in order to learn.

There is absolutely nothing men can do that women can not and vice versa. Except maybe lift something, I've had to call my brother for heavy lifting, that's it.

In my arrogant opinion, modernity screwed everything up. The human brain has a sophisticated chemical analysis plant that measures and analyze everything you eat. Modernity created additives and treated the human body like a machine rather than the creation it is. In a human, the part is reflected in the whole and visa versa. Now, the flavors of the food do not match the content and that throws the brain off. Since it doesn't know what it's eating, it amplifies cravings to save the body from starvation. Then r become monstrously huge. As it turns out, we evolved with day digestion and big brains. We need to store fat outside of our bodies. This is why we must live in communities and store food in buildings. We need to eat high caloric meals and collect a huge variety of vegetables. We also must eat only what we enjoy because that is the brain telling us we are eating right. We are not dying dumb apes awash in a sea of hyperpalatable food. The brain tells us when to stop see we are slender and ready to fight animals and not be a tempting meal, fatty and slow. As it turns out, computers obsoleted women, along with machines for cleaning and cooking. This has destroyed the way of life that humans are hardwired to live. Now we are very fat and miserable. I know this puts women back in the kitchen, but the real point is, we artificially revoked their role in society. All that's left is motherhood, and even that's no longer profitable because of legalism, sadism, rampant dishonest, modernity, Enlightenment, and a liberal attitude towards morals. They truly are a most miserable lot.

Almost every living being on this planet with more than one cell has a male and a female genotype. Why is this biological trend so prevalent, when it's possible for organisms to reproduce asexually or heramaphroditically?

We’re better together than we are apart. A man’s strengths can offset a woman’s weaknesses and vice versa. But we’ve trained women to believe they can never rely on a man, men are either buffoons and incompetent, or they’re abusers. So women don’t believe they need a man for anything, there’s so many social conventions that give women this sense of security that beta bucks (protection, provisioning, and parental investment) will always be there for them with or without a husband. Women are allowed to go out and make babies on their own because we tell them you don’t need no man. No they do need a man especially if she has kids. We all know how important it is to have a father in the home.

So women think perceptually that long term security is taken care of (maybe until the epiphany phase then they wonder where all the “good men” went), we’ve gone from a marriage based model to a child support based model for raising kids. So the only thing left is alpha fucks, or the most arousing, attractive, best genetic specimen, hot fireman that women want to have red hot monkey sex with. Because they don’t need men they just want men, and who are the men that they want? Well most likely the men that they want aren’t gonna be the best long term prospects. So women have this conflict and cognitive dissonance between the hot guy in the foam cannon party, and the guy who would be a good dad who has benefits over the long term, but probably isn’t the Chad from her 20s.

However women are so averse to being saddled with a boring but faithful beta male (low smv not her first choice) that they will go to college and work miserable jobs and would rather be alone than get with that guy. So that’s where we’re at and why so many women will be single, because they can’t find the “one” who checks off all 436 bullet points.

Women need men for a lot of things though, they need men to reach things off the top shelf for them, to go do the dirty work and fix the roof, to be serviceable and fight the wars but to also give them the sense of security that they can look to you and know things will be alright, women need men to protect them, they are innately vulnerable. They say they don’t need men but we still have to support them when they decide they want a divorce. They need men’s resources evidently still, women spend 10 trillion more than they produce, where’s that money coming from? They need men to provide structure and reason, to balance out women’s default state of prioritizing emotion.

Men need women too, men need love and affection like everyone else and need sex, it’s men’s biological imperative and not getting any will be painful. We don’t necessarily need them to pay our bills or anything like that, and we don’t want them to. But men need women as well and we’re better together than we apart. Everything has been falling apart and we make it real easy for women to eject, but in a perfect world we are complements to each other.

Really nothing unless you're a good man. I don't need a man's money, I can support myself. I can use a vibrator or go to a sperm bank for sex and children. I guess i could do casual sex but most men dont care to try to care about the womans pleasure anyway. Emotional and intellectual fulfillment is friends. taking care of me when im sick? My family. My exes sucked at that but expected me to drop everything when they were sick. I went through 15 dating scenarios and relationships before I found a man who actually brought to the table what he expects of me: kind, attractive, honest. good communicator, financially stable, interesting, emotionally supportive. I don't mind his standards this time because he upholds them himself. Most men don't imo. The majority of my exes wanted me to have all those traits when on their best day they showed half of them. They shoot too high and then take their anger out on women.

Here is my honest take on it, us man, are usually funnier/more laidback taking everything with a grain of salt, not saying there’s no women like that but more often then not i see the men in the relationship being this type. So the men being this type is the one able to handle situations where both are angry or whatever situation where there’s a tense moment, could be driving and someone cut you and your wife is freaking out, or you’re arguing about something and instead of calling each other’s names the man will most likely close on himself because he knows he cant win this fight because he doesn’t even remember what caused it because he was so laidback and chil’l. women on the other hands are the logical one, bonding the relationship, she is the « coach » the one making sure everything is going right etheir for family or whatever situation where logic has to be implied. She’s the one responsible for calming mister impulses things. Obviously i seems like i contradicting myself but im not native English, so its my best use of words to try and describe how both are necessary for a relationship

To be completely blunt, nobody NEEDS anything except for food, water and shelter. Everything else is an optional extra. But that’s a bit too dogmatic. In the real world companionship, sex, reproducing, having a family, love, cohabitation for the sake of convenience, financial support etc are all things that traditionally the opposite sexes have needed each other for. But in the modern world with emphasis on independence, emotional and financial support and cohabitation have become undesirable and everything else can now be simulated or paid for. I increasingly come across this attitude among women that they feel they don’t need men at all, unless Ofcourse they want to use them for some short term gain and then get rid of them again.
