I have just been wondering this. I often hear the same guys who say "Dating is rigged, men are better off not chasing and instead focusing on what they like" then at the same time say that video games makes someone a loser and it's weak of them. What is the harm about video games? Porn I get but not this statement. It seems that in general you are supposed to "man up", yet manning up is not rewarded at all. So why do it? Why not focus on what you like, no matter what it is?

Furthermore, social media with women is a, in my opinions, even worse thing than video games. it's highly addicting and has real life consequences, but there it's okay because reasons.

And I am saying this as someone who has lived the self-improvement life. Going to work, then to the gym, then meditating, no sugar, going to bed early. I never felt so on autopilot in my life, as if in a coma and I did it for about a year. I honestly regret just not playing video games and chilling in my free time. It's so much more engaging to me.
