I am not a redpiller or anything, I saw that whole stuff crop up many years back and avoided it. But I saw the bluepill sub today and was disappointed, so I wanna at least say this. It seems like bluepillers make fun of good young men that are simply living their lives average-ly and are disappointed how such average people are ignored. I think it’s true that average women are given many more opportunities than average men, and making fun of men getting angsty at that is just gonna alienate average guys. But unlike redpillers, I’m not exactly interested in playing the game of the current system.

We should be encouraging people to understand how the same mainstream culture that keeps women subservient in some contexts also keeps them on a pedestal on others like with sex. You can call it the “patriarchy”, but I find that kind of loaded and the point can be lost. The point is that they’re connected and they’ve always been on the hidden backdrop of “American Christian values” which seemingly held it together (by coercion of hell, parents etc…flawed, basically). It’s been stuffed in the trunk and not actually dealt with so to speak.

It probably won’t fix itself any time soon, but meanwhile there’s plenty of folks that understand this and share these kind of values. Focus on those guys and girls and whatever. It worked for me recently even if it didn’t work out for other reasons. I mean really in general, find people that share your values, a lot of this angst probably comes from trying to fit into crowds that ain’t even yourself. Why chase the culture you hate, right?
