How does everyone on here feel that women feel scared to walk outside especially when in close proximity to another man?

I feel like at one point I had only really feared when walking out at night, but after social media movements I have found myself to be more careful treading next to a man purely because of many things I've read. I want to clarify I've never had anything physical or violent happen between me and a man when outside, except for the odd catcall, which is quite rare where I'm from (and isn't as bad as an experience than what I had with a woman).

Additionally after my own experiences, I will generally fear many women I walk past, as I've consistently been harassed by women and have even had a woman attempt to grab and pull me to a car.

But, I just am generally at odds with how without any previous experience that involves physical action, I am fearing random men I don't know. I just want to understand how it makes men here feel and how perhaps it can be turned around in favour of men's rights, so that not every man is discriminated against on a public path.

Perhaps it's been pushed too far and have now made every woman feel like they need to fear so many men when they walk home by making only men the villain. Obviously this is wrong as women are known to assualt and harassed in public, so I wonder if people here agree that maybe we should just teach that everyone could do something?

I'm interested to see if there are any new perspectives on this.
