Despite having overwhelming evidence of Heard being abusive it is mind-blowing to me how divided it is on if she's guilty or not.

Is it because she's a woman? A famous rich woman? No way in hell any man can have this much support with 1/10 as much evidence of his abuse.

The fact that there is anyone defending Heard at all is just truly atrocious and quite frankly horrifying.

And yet there was this study right. I don't have a reference saved sorry but you're welcome to look, this is from memory. But it was of women who ended up in hospital due to injuries brought about in domestic violence. They basically interviewed them and their partners to get information on what led up to the hospital visit and used this to come up with advice for women to avoid hospital visits for DV. You know what they came up with as advice based on the most common events mentioned in the interviews?

They gave this advice "Do not hit your man FIRST"

So how then is bi directional violence rare when this study came to the conclusion these women were mostly ending up hurt in fights that THEY had initiated?

Its a losing game for them 🤣They use objective logic and data to support thier goals however it becomes readily apparent that when holding them to thier own standards they are more villians in this story. Its fairly constructive and righteous to have people speaking on behalf and helping ensure the self-determination rights of women, however this should not and cannot be done at the cost of rights to men. To commit evil is to encourage evil, no one, nothing exists in isolation. To take revenge is to grant a desire for revenge from anothers perspective. It is time to show the world what it looks l like to be better, to take the high road. It hurts to have others act with malicious intent while "tying" your own hands, however to take the "easy" way out is to defeat my/our goal of a better world. You become a part of the very problem you seek to address. It's time for us to begin to teach the world when your ally loses, it is your lose as well.
