Nah, the problem was she was never his to begin with. Even on their wedding day she was calling her boyfriend who was convincing her to go through with things cause he saw a good opportunity to hustle. The lesson should be: don’t fall for the girl just cause she’s a pretty face. Don’t try and “change her” if she really doesn’t want to change. And no amount of money influence or power is going to stop someone hell bent on self-destruction from destroying themselves.

Think about it. At any point he could have avoided or dumped the train-wreck and gotten with any number of other Vegas showgirls. But he just kept standing on those tracks.

The problem was that Ace knew she didn’t love or want him. She loved her ex. This disproves all of the high value man talk. He ex was not high value at all. Ace only liked ginger for her looks and desirability. Even though he 100% knows she a prostitute he marries her anyway.

There were so many other option for him. He could have married a cute loyal woman with a low body count. He did not have to chose Ginger. At the end of the day he chose wrong and she chose wrong and they were both miserable.
