I was ordering some cabinets at home depot. It was taking a while so I decided to make some friendly small talk with the lady helping me out. She then proceeded to tell me how annoying it is when guys hit on her at the gym and how she just goes their to work out. Thing is she was about 100 Ibs overweight with a below average face.

All I did was ask her how her day was going. Was she just trying to feel validated somehow? Am I supposed to walk around scowling at every woman I see? I feel like this sort of thing happens more often than not, it's annoying and kind of funny at the same time.
