"Female suicide rate is fastest rising".... NO. IT. IS. NOT. It only SEEMS that way BECAUSE THEY CHANGED THE DEFINITION OF WHAT THEY COUNT AS A SUICIDE ATTEMPT. I have been pointing this out for literally YEARS now but people STILL fall for their trick, just as they do for the wage gap myth.

So I posted on a "support forum" for depressed people, in a section called "rant about anything". I put how I was sickened by all the hate aimed at men. What happened? Feminists swarmed, got called incel, neckbeard, blah blah blah.

From the article - “It’s disappointing for women going forward and how they have to bring evidence to court.”

Did she really say that? Laughed so hard I nearly fell off the toilet.

[–]Angryasfk 28 points29 points30 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Isn’t it terrible that vindictive women can’t just have someone’s arse thrown into jail on their word alone. Terrible, terrible, terrible!!!!!

And here we see the terrible truth of feminism, at least the feminism represented by this. Not equality but female supremacy. That a woman’s word carries more weight than a man’s solely by virtue of her being a woman, and indeed that it has more weight than any other evidence! Feminists condemn judicial practice that doesn’t give female evidence equal weight to a man’s, so they clearly know they’re calling for female supremacy.

Imagine having to prove your claims

Lol ikr?

[–]mindset_grindset 5 points6 points7 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

i would not have believed you if i hadn't read that with my own eyes

that's truly unbelievable, you can't make this shit up, that prefecture describes feminism.

that needs to be plastered everywhere for the world to see how feminists "think"

[–]Iwarrior01 52 points53 points54 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I am liking every post highlighting the issue of "innocent till proven guilty" . Hope we learn for the future

[–]Clemicus 37 points38 points39 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

"It doesn’t make sense. Johnny Depp had already been on the downfall with his career, so I don’t think she had anything to do with it.

It’s disappointing for women going forward and how they have to bring evidence to court. Especially against someone as high profile as Johnny Depp.

Was this the only Amber Heard supporter they could find? This is a terrible take

[–]Angryasfk 8 points9 points10 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I think it’s an accurate representation of Turd supporter attitudes.

[–]Clemicus 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It's insane. In the future women will have to prove their accusations -- word alone isn't enough

And it's misdirection. It doesn't matter if his career was waning. It's damage that's done to his public image and that could be used against him if someone else accuses him of anything (like assault)

[–]theindianlinus 23 points24 points25 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Johnny Depp is officially a legend now in the legal space along with his outstanding team and this case will be a future land mark case. Students will study about this case in law school, mark my words.

[–]TendieDinner777 26 points27 points28 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I’ve read so many articles related to this case that are blatantly being written begrudgingly, seeking to invalidate, question, or belittle the ruling at every opportunity.

Don’t believe all women or men; make sure they are treated fairly under the law. Sorry if some shit happened when nobody was around, maybe choose wisely.

[–]Angryasfk 6 points7 points8 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Dead right. And the reaction proves that what we’ve always thought of feminism is true.

You should 100% bring evidence to court how did “I’m a woman so what I say in court should be taken as fact” ever become a thing

“Believe women”!

[–]Sydnaktik 28 points29 points30 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

That's not enough. We need today to be the beginning of the end for the Duluth Model of domestic violence. And the reversal of the Istanbul Convention in Europe.

[–]Alarming_Draw[S] 11 points12 points13 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Then lets do it! Lets make it happen.

[–]Angryasfk 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

[–]Alarming_Draw[S] 14 points15 points16 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It makes Hollywood studio heads-the most powerful people-sit up and take notice of which way the wind is blowing. It also helps in terms of legal action as all jurors, judges, lawyers, will have this case on their mind the next time they face being asked to believe a woman simply because she is a woman, regardless of lack of evidence. It also OBVIOUSLY makes media /news rethink things-after all, Washington Post and UK Daily Mail were the specific news outlets cited here in the case-they will CERTAINLY think twice again about allowing a woman to spew unrpoven hate against men all over their pages. Their lawyers will make sure they dont forget that!

[–]Angryasfk 6 points7 points8 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

It depends upon whether it gets taken up. It took Depp’s wealth and status to pursue this case. But it is very public evidence that women can be the abusers, and that some women lie about it. The first real push back against the Metoo movement. It could be the start of the fight back. It depends upon the rest of us seizing the moment and showing that Depp is but the tip of the iceberg.

[–]Alarming_Draw[S] 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Agreed-we MUST act now momentum is on our side for once! Men MUST start reporting female abusers more, even if it is of "lower" levels such as name calling. I bet every single man who has dated a woman has at some point been verbally abused by a woman but just took it and assumed thats how the world is.

We have to record instances of abuse, we have to report it, we have to complain when we get ignored, we have to post evidence for all to see-in short, we have to kick up a fuss, make a noise, create a stink, until people start waking up and seeing we wont be doormats any longer, and we wont be ignored or treated LESS than women.

The moment feminists wake up to the notion they too will be held to the same ridiculous standards they expect of men, is the day they might just learn to stop whining and start facing up to harsh realities of life and stop blaming men for every tiny little thing in life they dont like.

[–]andejoh 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

"She now has an opportunity to appeal the jury verdict.
But unless new evidence or testimony emerges in the aftermath of this blockbuster six-week courtroom drama, little will change from today's outcome.
It is not yet clear if Heard's legal team plans to appeal."

Does the BBC not understand the implications of what they said or are they just so idiologically blind that facts / truth don't matter? She has to literally post $8.35 million in order to appeal. Theoretically she owes the ACLU, who hopefully Depp sues next, over $6m. She said under oath that she didn't pay them because she didn't have the money.

I have no doubt that Heard is a manipulative liar who lied on the witness stand again. I also know for certain I'm not the smartest guy in the room. If I see it, I'm sure a couple million other people see it also including Depp's lawyers. The BBC is supposedly a news organization, why do they not see it?

[–]hedic 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I don't think he can sue the ACLU since the statute has elapsed in the six years this has been in trial.

[–]Angryasfk 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Let’s hope so.

More likely it may be the beginning of the end. We could see how terrified the feminists and their DV industry arm were that Turd was going to lose with their spate of Op Ed’s. And Turd has, typically, bought into this about how it’s a “blow to battered women”. In truth her lies and attempt to cash in as a way of boosting her celebrity status was what damaged real victims of abuse: as well as the “small fact” that she is actually an abuser!!!

She’ll be just fine. She’ll “pledge” to pay Johnny and her lawyers. I mean that’s the same as actually paying isn’t it? I’ll have to remember that when it comes to paying the mortgage.

[–]Tang_of_pussy 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

[–]xTheVyrusx 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Gonna take a lot of work and not every case is the same, not everyone has power, money and influence. The average Joe will still get bent over by the courts in a similar case. You see the taking of sides and Depp supports ect. If all men could have that kind of support we’d be in the winning side along time ago for true equality. The reality is we aren’t, it’ll take years going forward in a similar direction to see any progress.

[–]ectbot 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Hello! You have made the mistake of writing "ect" instead of "etc."

"Ect" is a common misspelling of "etc," an abbreviated form of the Latin phrase "et cetera." Other abbreviated forms are etc., &c., &c, and et cet. The Latin translates as "et" to "and" + "cetera" to "the rest;" a literal translation to "and the rest" is the easiest way to remember how to use the phrase.

Dep won a defamation case. An extremely expensive and complex defamation case.

That's all that was. I understand the desperation of shortcut solutions that get us all to "some better place" but this trial wasn't it.

The load of work that lies ahead of us has not lessened. Nothing in this context merits the war on the opposite gender that you so eagerly seem to await.

That is not the way.

[+]CuteYuumi1 points 4 years ago [recovered] (21 children) | Copy Link

Cool, but the problem here is that this is changing to "assume all women are liars"
And that's not ok

[–]ANUS_CONE 34 points35 points36 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

No…. It’s not

[–]treeerty 25 points26 points27 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

That’s absolutely not ok, but what makes you say that one win is going to shift society to that so strongly?

[–][deleted] 15 points16 points17 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

No, but you have to assume that a woman could be lying, so her testimony alone should not carry more weight than the testimony of the accused. If it's just a case of "he said, she said", that's enough reasonable doubt.

[+]CuteYuumi1 points 4 years ago [recovered] (1 child) | Copy Link

then fair enough for women to assume things about men and men assuming things about women
it cant go one way

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Sure, you also have to assume that a man could be lying about something. That's why any accusation has to be presented in a court of law where both sides can present their arguments.

[–]Angryasfk 12 points13 points14 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That’s your take? Either believe all women or all women are liars?

Amber Heard certainly doesn’t tell the truth, or if she does, not the whole truth (like donating the settlement to charity). But that says SHE isn’t honest, not that no woman is. The point is you shouldn’t condemn someone on an unsupported accusation alone. That’s a fundamental point of justice. And feminisms effective insistence that this be bypassed if the accuser is female and the accused is male (but apparently not otherwise) speaks volumes about feminism. None of it positive.

[–]Frosty-Gate-8094 9 points10 points11 points 4 years ago* (6 children) | Copy Link

Well, the society 'assumes' that men are 'violent' and 'rapists'... Even though 99% men aren't anything like that.

What is your stance then? Should the 'society' have a better attitude or should men change their behavior?

Ask yourself the question!

Same yardstick applies when society 'assumes' women are liars. Now that the shoe is on other foot, it hurts, right?

That's what this sub has been saying for years, and people like you still cant stop trolling. That's the irony!

[–]Halafax 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Well, the society 'assumes' that men are 'violent' and 'rapists'...

The moment that finally turned me was the lack of a "feminist" response to the Washington Post's "why can't we hate men".

It wasn't the opinion piece, it was feminists falling all over themselves to agree with her. Feminism is a horrible ideology for horrible people. They take pride in being horrible to men, you can't reason with them.

[–]Frosty-Gate-8094 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

https://m.timesofindia.com/india/activists-join-chorus-against-gender-neutral-rape-laws/articleshow/18840879.cms

This was my moment.. They literally legalized F on M rape in India. (Its not a crime under any section).

Passive inaction can still be forgiven. But feminists actively lobby for anti-male gender biased laws.

VAWA and Duluth law in USA. DV law in Spain. Conscription in 50% countries.. The evidence is overwhelming!

[+]CuteYuumi1 points 4 years ago [recovered] (1 child) | Copy Link

funny how you dont mention how it is completely ok to force marriage and have sex in many countries to young women or young girls
but i guess well just antagonize women today lol
you are literally the mirror of a extreme feminist

[–]treeerty 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The only antagonist is you

[–]Punder_man 5 points6 points7 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

No, it's not ok..
But then again for the last decade or more the narrative has been "Women would NEVER lie about serious things like this" and thus if a man is accused he MUST be guilty.

How many men have been railroaded in cases because of the #BelieveAllWomen effect?
How many men are in prison based on false testimony and fabricated evidence?
I'm not advocating for "Assume all women are liars" I simply want to advocate for a system where NEITHER side is assumed to be telling the truth or is guilty based off of their gender.

[–]andejoh 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Equality feels like oppression to those with privilege.

[+]CuteYuumi1 points 4 years ago [recovered] (1 child) | Copy Link

is this #believeallwomen an american thing
here in europe doesnt work that way or barely

[–]Punder_man 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

No, this #believeallwomen is a social media thing where due to it a man can have his life ended with nothing more than an accusation because we must #BelieveAllWomen

Once again, I do not agree with the concept of "All Women are liars" however it does need to be said that there ARE women out there who have or who do lie about serious crimes. And rather than downplay this we need to accept that it does happen.
