I used to occasionally remark in Red "Tablet" "Females" and a lot of the women in there reacted very favorably to my 69 years of experience. Been going on at least a year or more. Then I got a really virulent attack last week. The mod took the gals side even though lots of down votes on her and up votes on me. I explained myself to the mod and she addressed none of my remarks, reiterated the same crap. Went back a week later and I was banned. Interestingly though the account for weird named gal that was doing all the complaining had been deleted. In hindsight now it's easy to see what happened. It was a premeditated, hidden takedown. Proving that the mods there aren't so Red "Capsule". (Using the code lingo so as not to trigger more hate. The mods monitor their sub names and user names in this sub.)

So.... Welcome to the club.

I’ve been accused of “mansplaining” simply for agreeing with another woman’s opinion. Crazy, right? I couldn’t count the amount of times I’ve had older women explain things to me in a way that makes it seem like they think they’re more knowledgeable or I’m stupid. Yet I just call that condescending, not “femsplaining”.
