Very rarely, and whenever I have, they have been extremely talkative.

I can think of 3 times I have. Once on the league, once on hinge, once on bumble. I only met the girl from bumble. Went on one date, made out, ghosted. Was pretty hot though.

But yes I’d say your theory is right on. Mostly fake. A girl that attractive doesn’t need a dating app and she’s going to get flooded with attention from the bottom of the barrel. Waste of time.

But the reason you may think otherwise is because bots/catfishes are way overrepresented among the top 10% (in looks), since people who make bots/catfishes almost always make them highly attractive.

Another possible explanation is because you are not very attractive yourself, which is why very attractive people ghost you or don't reply.

I had this same though, I noticed those “standouts” on hinge and they never would give me the time of day on the app. I approached two in real life and they actually agreed to go on dates with me. If they had found me on the apps I’d have never had a chance in my life.

When I used old, I went on a few dates with freakishly attractive men. And I understood immediately what the catch was.

There wa something wrong with all of them. From roid rage psycho, to absolute caricature himbo.

I'm attractive, but not attractive enough to land men like that without knowing them IRL. I can puch above my grade with my social skills and charming personality. But I can't pull above my grade off of pictures alone and barely any conversation. Everything made sense on the dates.

Yes alot of them are real, you can usually verify through instagram etc. I also know alot of "top 10%" girls irl in my city, so when I see them on dating apps etc I know they are real. obviously there are fake accounts but its usually pretty easy to spot them.

they are still flakey and alot dont respond. some just take a month to respond lol.

really attractive girls either dont use dating apps or barely use them, they have more than enough options irl and on ig.

it really really helps if you have mutual friends with them, so expand your social circle as much as you can.

but honestly i dont use dating apps that much, you should never rely on them too much.
