That boy doesn't know it but he is a hero because he likely saved his father's life.

[–]Forcetobereckonedwit 266 points267 points268 points 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Saved from being railroaded into prison as the perp, yep. She would've "come to" and started screaming, run out the house, called the cops and....gone the usual route. Toxic male/jail. "Battered woman most affected".

[–]Klexosinfreefall 102 points103 points104 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

That's exactly it or when questioned in hospital after she came to she would have likely just blamed the husband, especially after learning the son had died. Why wouldn't the police believe a woman who was stabbed? That father would have spent the rest of his days behind bars.

[–]MillorTime 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

I mean the woman was known to be mentally unstable and the son had been living when his dad and the mom hadn't seen him in 40 days. I dont think the father would have been fucked in this situation

[–]DeathlessWitch 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Maybe, maybe not.

[–]MillorTime 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Pick the right times for this. The world isn't solely out to destroy men regardless of things being harder. They're is far too much against this woman to say he's going away for sure.

[–]Freddy_Fazbear1596 7 points8 points9 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yeah, she might have tried to kill that father too

[–]SubmissiveBitch003 6 points7 points8 points 4 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link

But at what cost? The fact that it saved another life honestly doesn’t matter. And while I’m glad the father won’t be paying the price like he more than likely would have, that doesn’t rule over the fact that a child was killed. There’s nothing to be celebrated in this…

[–]GiveMeAFunnyUsername 23 points24 points25 points 4 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

I think the fact that an innocent life wasn't spent in legal captivity is a pretty huge deal and worth celebrating, although a celebration at this particular point in time may be less than opportune.

[–]SubmissiveBitch003 -2 points-1 points0 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It shouldn’t be at all. It’s disgusting when feminists and the media use stories to fit their agenda. This is just the same thing. It’s wrong

[–]SubmissiveBitch003 -5 points-4 points-3 points 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

It shouldn’t be at all. It’s disgusting when feminists and the media use stories to fit their agenda. This is just the same thing. It’s wrong

[–]DeathlessWitch 6 points7 points8 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

You are strange, just because we are not crying here on our knees doesn't mean the situation ain't bad. Men usually just stay silent or positive in situations like this if you didn't know

[–]SubmissiveBitch003 -4 points-3 points-2 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

So what you’re saying is you have no morals? I’m not saying you have to be crying. I’m saying show some morality. And the moral thing would be to not use this to fit an agenda

[–]DeathlessWitch 4 points5 points6 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

This is agenda for you? You are the one thinking it is one, and I think that's a you problem

[–]SubmissiveBitch003 -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

No. No the person who posted this on here made it an agenda. This has nothing to do with men’s rights. They just see it as a benefit to their agenda that is becoming almost as toxic as feminism

[–]Klexosinfreefall 8 points9 points10 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

That young man could have said anything with his dying words or even said nothing. He chose to say the right thing and that deserves to be celebrated. He showed real character in death which is tragic because if that was his character in death his character in life must have been amazing.

[–]SubmissiveBitch003 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I agree. And when feminists out mainstream media use things like this to fit their agenda it’s disgusting. It’s no different here. This is using a child’s character to fit an agenda

[+]ifisch -95 points-94 points-93 points 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Sure he's a hero, but what does this story have to do with "Men's Rights"?

[–]Thats_arguable 76 points77 points78 points 4 years ago* (1 child) | Copy Link

I think it's implied that if the boy didn't, the father may have been blamed. The point is not 'oh look women does bad thing!'

[–]needalife94 41 points42 points43 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That is exactly what it has to do with mens rights.

[–]Shadowdragon409 51 points52 points53 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It helps to deconstruct narratives like how women are better caretakers than men, men are more violent than women, men can't be hurt by women, etc.

[–]xa3D 18 points19 points20 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

who do you think would be on the hook if the kid didn't say anything? who would YOU think was responsible?

[–]Shadowdragon409 103 points104 points105 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

The article says that the mother was found in her bedroom with self inflicted stab wounds. If the son was not able to tell the authorities that the mother was the culprit, the father would have been to blame.

[–]Great-Gap1030 40 points41 points42 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This!

The mother was trying to make the father look like the culprit, by stabbing herself.

However, the son managed to heroically tell the authorities in time, and also saving his father potentially.

[–]mrbeets6000 198 points199 points200 points 4 years ago (39 children) | Copy Link

It looks like she might actually get prison time for this

[–]ChaosRegency 133 points134 points135 points 4 years ago (28 children) | Copy Link

It's just sad that at this point, even this much is a win for us.

[–]Freddy_Fazbear1596 7 points8 points9 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You are right,it is just sad

[+]SubmissiveBitch003 -41 points-40 points-39 points 4 years ago (26 children) | Copy Link

I’m sorry. But. Just. This isn’t a win. How can you sit there and say something like that. This isn’t a win on anybody’s side. Not in the slightest. A child died. An innocent child. Just a baby at his age. This isn’t something to be celebrating as a win…

[–]ChaosRegency 37 points38 points39 points 4 years ago (20 children) | Copy Link

We're celebrating because the child has died, but now the perpetrator is finally getting a fair sentence, deserving of the crime, and they can't weasel out of this based on their gender or pin it on a male.

[+]SubmissiveBitch003 -26 points-25 points-24 points 4 years ago (19 children) | Copy Link

Again. Like I said. I understand it would’ve been pinned on the dad. But there is nothing to be celebrated here. Nothing. And I think it’s horrible if you do celebrate it. Because the only thing that matters is that that kid didn’t get to live out his life

[–]ChaosRegency 8 points9 points10 points 4 years ago (18 children) | Copy Link

And I agree, but in our current situation, courts have let too many vile criminals off the hook, simply because they're female. The fact that we are guaranteed that they're going to be sentenced for this vile crime is that little shimmer of light in the endless darkness.

[–]SubmissiveBitch003 -3 points-2 points-1 points 4 years ago (17 children) | Copy Link

I guess. But. A child had to pay the price. And that in and of itself should make people just stop. Everybody. It’s bad enough when you use the circumstance of something happening to an adult. But when it’s a child…it’s immoral for feminists to use it. And it’s immoral now. Just simply because he’s a child

[–]TheBigBootyTheory 9 points10 points11 points 4 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link

It has to be this way. When you realize just how violent women truly are, you'll realize how serious the issue is. The powers to be removed a CDC study that showed that the most dangerous place for a human to be is in their own mothers womb Once born, the most dangerous person to them is again their own mother.

[–]SubmissiveBitch003 -5 points-4 points-3 points 4 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link

Women and men are both violent you idiot. Also I was raped by a woman so I do know how violent women can get thank you

[–]le_flapjack 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

Begone.

[–]Fearless-Shopping-99 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

Yeah children have been paying the price for an entire generation now due to feminism

[–]SubmissiveBitch003 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

And you think some of the toxicity on here won’t make me suffer? The men’s rights sub is definitely not as toxic as the feminist sub. But there are some horribly toxic men on here. And if that spreads then it’ll just be the same as feminism. We need feminism (the old fashioned feminism) and men’s right equally. We need to find a balance between the two because both genders suffer in different ways. But this? This isn’t that way to go about finding balance. This is just copying toxic feminism

[–]Fearless-Shopping-99 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Typical. You're just trying to make things about you. Obviously there's toxic people everywhere. This reddit is talking about the things men have face. This post is completely on topic and something a man had to deal with. He lost his son due to a crazy wife and you're trying to censor it? Please head on over to the feminist reddit and go talk about it there no one is trying to hear how your suffering because of a man's post over here.

I dont get it either. Not a win and barely anything to do with MRA.

[–]MixtureSufficient956 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The boy is a hero! He bravely did the heroic thing in the face of his death! He should be honored and celebrated! If he were in the military he should get a Medal of Honor.

She'll claim she's crazy and then she'll be sent to a mental institution like Andrea Yates.

[–]3qui1i6riM 11 points12 points13 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I hope so b/c those are much worse tbh.

[–]BoredRedhead24 14 points15 points16 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

I have studied those institutions and to be totally honest, I would take prison over them.

[–]Tayaradga 7 points8 points9 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Im curious as to what you found. I visited my sister when they were in prison and that wasnt too big of an ordeal (just a search then they let me see her on the other side of a glass). However, i have never been able to visit them when they're in one of those institutions. Ive tried looking it up but my brain doesnt understand a thing it says!! (Brain damage). So any information you may have i would greatly appreciate, but try to dumb it down for me as long words hurt my head now. Like literally i get a massive headache just trying to read really complex words.

[–]BoredRedhead24 9 points10 points11 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

For one, getting released from a state run institution is very very difficult to do, after all the person in there was sent there because they committed a murder, they are still seen as a danger to the public. Even if released you would still have to serve a sentence for your crime so even if the mental illness is treated and the doctor says you’re ok to go you are not just released into the public.

Things like fights, sexual assault and other such things not only occur in these institutions but are more common in many cases.

On top of all that, they are state funded, they have a budget and it isn’t stellar. A good number of prisoners are simply kept sedated enough to not pose a threat. At the end of the day it’s still a prison. The people there are there because they are violent and unstable and being amongst them, probably for the remainder of your life isn’t really a win.

[–]Tayaradga 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Welp, i knew they were crazy but I didnt think they were that crazy. I didn't even know why they got sent there, i just assumed it was for some drug case cause that's pretty common with them. But murdering someone? Yea ok, i was keeping my distance beforehand but now I'm definitely staying far away!!!

[–]2Fast2Real 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

She stabbed her kid. I’d say that claim would be one of the few she was right about.

[–]Valmar33 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The weird thing about that is genuinely crazy people generally don't think they're crazy... so you'd think that wouldn't fly...

[–]WRAD4 5 points6 points7 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I'll believe it when I see it

[–]rdesktop7 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

[–]The_Devil_Memnoch 133 points134 points135 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

This is horrific. I cannot imagine the guilt and pain the father must be going through right now.

[–]Forcetobereckonedwit 63 points64 points65 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yup, let her stay to visit. No good deed goes unpunished.

[–]dw87190 143 points144 points145 points 4 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link

This happened in America, she'll probably break down crying in court with fake remorse and get an insanity plea and free drugs at the mental health zoo

[–]crimdelacrim 40 points41 points42 points 4 years ago* (5 children) | Copy Link

Actually I’m okay with it and I’ll tell you why. I’ve worked with people that pled insanity and were malingering during my psych rotations at the state hospital. I also worked with employees that had been there forever.

In the scenarios where people have to leave prison for an extended stay at the state mental hospital (usually bullshit psych symptoms and they are just trying to get out of prison…or the guy that sticks out to me is a guy that killed his young wife and baby girl and tried to be ruled mentally incompetent to get the death penalty off the table), they always, always beg to go back to prison…unless they are about to face the possibility of capital punishment I guess but that’s just desperation.

The “mental health zoo” is a terrible place to be if you aren’t actually showing at least moderately profound psych symptoms that need some big dick antipsychotics or something. You have fewer rights than prisoners. You’re trusted less than prisoners, and you have nothing. Like nothing nothing where I was. Special outlets you can’t shock yourself with. No door hinges to hang yourself from. No shoelaces for your noose. And if you attempted to kill yourself and failed, so fucking help you. You are stripped naked and put in a cold, empty room with a suicide mock that’s called “the turtle vest”. You can’t take it on or off yourself.

Anyway. I could go on. But they always want to go back. Now imagine being stuck there forever.

free drugs at the mental health zoo

Mmm yeah, they don't give out the fun recreational drugs at mental health facilities. In fact, you get kicked out if you get caught with those kinds of drugs.

She posts that her son can read her mind and that hes a god...

Is it just me or do those parents seem way to old for that child.

May she live another 100 years, and may every day of it be suffering.

I want to make a comment. I am a woman and I commented here recently and got banned from other subreddits.

Holy shit?! Why?

Shouldn’t we have an equal voice for men as well as women? I read these comments about the manipulation and maneuvering this woman has and “could” have done against what sounds like a great dad and I am shocked. I see people post saying that she could have set him up to be blamed, and I’m surprised that this isn’t a conversation that everyone should be having…and also why was I banned from other subreddits?! I’m deeply troubled. I don’t know if I have the voice that should be heard/read but I am confounded by the fact that posting in a men’s right forum equally gets me disbarred from other forums for critical thinking discourse.

It's a good sign that you're banned from those subreddits Ma'am. It means you're kept safe from their bias, brainwash, and indoctrination. Same for the rest of us.

[–]TextDependent6779 6 points7 points8 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

also why was I banned from other subreddits?!

censorship.

this is about the time most people start getting sceptical of feminism, considering the amount of subs that identify as feminist.

Once again the patriarchy is exerting white male privilege by denying a woman the right to control her own biology and abort her 11 year old child. When will this country finally recognize such basic rights for women! </sarchasm>

And then his mother will surely get no punishments afterwards sadly.

Strange synonym of murder that, "brutally stabbed" and leaves "uses last words" to fill in the blank.

Mother murders 11 year old son in brutal attack, boy tells 911 in dying words. Fixed your shitty headline Daily Mail

Im sorry, but i dont understand what this is suppose to mean. Yeah women can be asshole human being too, that is a plain fact. No were in the article is ANY sexism present.

[+]SubmissiveBitch003 -15 points-14 points-13 points 4 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link

I’m sorry. But this isn’t a men’s rights issue. I know that if the boy hadn’t been able to say it was his mother that his father would’ve been blamed. But do we have to make it all about that? This poor baby won’t get to fall in love and have kids. He won’t get to share his sweet smile with people. A child lost his life. And it’s a men’s rights issue? I get it. I do. His father would’ve been blamed. But. Show some respect. It’s revolting when women post thing like this for their agenda. This is just the same. Have some respect for the dead please. Don’t use it to your advantage

[–]AchtzehnVonSchwefel 10 points11 points12 points 4 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

I agree. We sometimes look like the very thing we swore to destroy. But you answered your own question on this very comment.

But tell me. How is this any different than the story of the 10 yo girl getting pregnant?

I tell you how. The boy's story doesn't fit the narrative of the media. So, we have to show it here. Because no-one else will.

[–]SubmissiveBitch003 -5 points-4 points-3 points 4 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

I don’t agree with the media at all though. I think it’s revolting to make anything for your agenda. Whether it’s a feminist one, or one such as this. A pregnant 10 year old is awful, but I disagree with the media going after men as a whole for something so tragic. So yes. I disagree with this being posted and made as a men’s right issue

[–]AchtzehnVonSchwefel 5 points6 points7 points 4 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

You already answered yourself. It's because of the father. And how the mother would have, and probably still go Scots free.

[+]SubmissiveBitch003 -6 points-5 points-4 points 4 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

But that should not be brought up in this situation. If it were an adult that would be one thing. But it’s a child

[–]AchtzehnVonSchwefel 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

And this is an Info War.

[–]Fearless-Shopping-99 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

I would argue this is the exact type of thing that needs to be brought up in order to open peoples minds. A majority of average citizens would have seen the news and without proper headlining/information blamed the dad immediately. 5 years ago the dad would have almost immediately went to jail with all the jury, judge, the public putting blame on him. Even today he would have most likely went to jail. The one thing that changed that was not the publics perception, it wasn't critical thinking women or feminism. What kept him free is the fact his son told the cops it was the mother.

And guess what? Theres hundreds of more cases like this with evil mothers. Thousands of kids being abused by their mothers right now. And hopefully more stories get posted that way people know the truth. Doesn't matter if it hurts you're little feelings. To me it sounds like you're just mad because more and more women like this are getting exposed. Its funny you can hate feminism but are so against hearing the fact that women are destroying the one thing they aren't supposed to (aside from their families in general). They are destroying their children in mass. People deserve to wake up to the wicked ways of modern women.

[–]SubmissiveBitch003 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

You think I’m mad about abusive mother’s being exposed? My own mother was horribly abusive when I was a child. And part of me still hates her for it. She’s changed. But no one would’ve believed me if I told them my mother was abusing me. No one. Not my dad. Not my grandparents. Not anyone. So no. I’m not mad that abusive mother’s are finally getting called out. I’m mad because this child is being used for the personal gain of an agenda. I wouldn’t be okay with my story being used that way. Because that’s not what it’s for. It caused pain. To me and my sister. Pain we’ve hidden for 14 years. The thought of that being used sickens me. And we’re both alive. This boys story being used this way…it makes me sad. Because yes. While I’m glad he exposed his mother so his father wouldn’t go to jail. It was not an invitation for people to use his story for their gain. No kid deserves that

[–]Fearless-Shopping-99 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

His story isn't being used as an agenda. This isn't the feminist reddit. Its very clear you're trying to make everything about you and I believe the best place for you to go do that is the r/feminist or whatever its called. This post and the topics here are to discuss men's rights and how they are being abused. Its clear why op posted the article. The reason you don't understand it is because you have been brainwashed and think everyone has an agenda. The only agenda here is to outline the unfair treatment of men. This man would have most likely gone to jail if not for his son. There are some boys out there who are so brainwashed by their mothers that even after they were to get stabbed by their mom they would probably still tell the police it was their dad that did it. Its ok to honor his passing and by posting it if it can warn other boys and men about the horrors the legal system and warn them about the extreme cases of marrying women like this then im all for it.

Lol this woman: Uhh I'm sorry this isn't a mens rights issue! I'll let you know what your issues are!

[+]EvilSporkOfDeath -30 points-29 points-28 points 4 years ago* (7 children) | Copy Link

How is this a mens rights issue. What would you think if twox posted story after story of psychopathic men doing evil things?

Edit: downvotes and no replies. Hmmmmm

[–]AchtzehnVonSchwefel 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

They don't talk about this one. It doesn't fit their narrative. The last time I saw a self conscious post/comment about actual equality and accountability on those subreddits was like 6 years ago. And all of them are either archived, or removed. Or just flat out deleted by the poster themself.

[–]TaxSingle5864 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago* (4 children) | Copy Link

The 'right' concerned is the right of the man to expect to be able to keep his liberty after this sorry affair. As it turned out the brave lad saved his father by revealing the true situation but as you can probably understand, many on here seriously doubt whether that would have happened in these circumstances if the lad had passed immediately. There is also some doubt that she may now receive the sort of sentence that the man would have received if the parent's roles had been reversed (i.e. locked up and thrown away the key). This remains to be seen but as experience has shown, the courts often take a more lenient view towards female perpetrators for equivalent crimes which is difficult for many men to get their heads around as it is so clearly not 'equality'. As it turns out, this woman may not be sane so these questions may be moot but nevertheless, the underlying concerns remain for the male community and so need to be aired and discussed. This is not hate, it is an expression of exasperation and the general helplessness many men feel due to the preferential treatment of women in the courts and society at large.

BTW i didnt downvote you as your point is a valid one but this thread is not about sensationalism but at it's heart is driven by the finer points of the concerns above.

[–]EvilSporkOfDeath 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

So we'll post any story where a woman does something evil just because theres a chance she might get lenient treatment. We wont use actual examples of such, instead we'll focus on what theoretically could happen. And we won't make these issues the main topic of discussion either. And you see nothing wrong with that and dont think from the outside it looks like people on this sub will just willy nilly post any negative story involving women.

You're doing some serious mental gymnastics here to justify why this post is relevant. Instead of shoehorning in the potential of why this could be relevant, if x and y happen, instead this sub should focus on actualities. In reality, nothing regarding mens rights actually occurred in this article. I actually am concerned in mens rights, and feel like content like this dilutes my/our goals and gives mens rights activists a bad name.

[–]TaxSingle5864 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

I think you really need to review the description of what this forum is based on. As a refresher evil spfork of death:

"At the most basic level, men's rights are the legal rights that are granted to men. However, any issue that pertains to men's relationship to society is also a topic suitable for this subreddit. "

The concerns i have indicated are exactly thus and pertain to mens relationship to and with society ... etc etc. If you do not agree that what i/we are saying here fits this bill then you really should not be here regardless of your stated support of mens rights.

Having said this, i would be interested to know just what are your goals wrt mens rights?

[–]EvilSporkOfDeath 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Fathers rights is the biggest topic for me. Equality in the military/draft. Declining mental health of men.

I dont hate women. In any way. Having a post that shows shitty women exist in no way is a mens rights issue or even related. It doesn't pertain to mens relationship to society. It literally is just "woman did this bad thing".

It just doesn't belong here, including by the expanded text you provided.

[–]TaxSingle5864 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I'm with you 100% re fathers rights. I've been through that mill myself. There is no military draft in my country so i dont have any thoughts on that though i dare say that aspect of your society is in some ways as gender biased as any other at the present time (i would be very interested to know what those issues are BTW). Declining mental health of men ... well, we are all in that boat these days and all worried for ourselves and our male children going forwards.

Overall, I feel you in what you are saying but i don't think it's right to say that many (not all) of the views on this thread regarding this particular case are not based on societal concerns. On the surface of it you could say that the OPost fits into the category of "woman did this bad thing", but there are too many coherent questions and concerns raised to dismiss it in this way as simply a woman bashing thread. I think the fact that it is in here and has prompted the level of discussion that it has is symptomatic of the societal malaise that threatens all us men at this point. I would not have posted it myself (i already knew about it before i saw the thread) but i do defend the right of compatriots to include and discuss it on the basis that the outcome of the case may well or is likely to serve to confirm some of our fears. Maybe it won't but maybe it will. Lets wait and see.

[+]IDespiseEvery1 -15 points-14 points-13 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

sub looks like its more about hating women from what ive seen
