This is an excellent question that needs to be debated more fully. I don’t have anything close to an answer but think we do need to figure it out. No man should be forced to be a father anymore than a woman should be forced to be a mother.

Financial abortion, paper abortion, legal paternal surrender are some terms to describe this. There is debate on the internet about this, but I haven't found any attempt to put it in to law. But this was the way it was naturally, before men faced mandatory child support

MRA do make this proposition but nobody cares about men and the ruling sexual dogma of hate (feminism) of course is against all men's rights, but ESPECIALLY any rights that would tend to make men more equal with women in reproductive and family law.

but it's hard to justify that women rights are above the fetus/life or whatever you want to call it right to live while men's rights are below and not considered at all at any point in the process and if she decides to move forward - and don't get me wrong, I accept it is their body and decision - you have to provide your whole life and embrace parenting because all of sudden now the rights of the child matter

Simply because it's easier for the state to pin payment for kids on the fathers. It's from old times when it was difficult for women to find a job and in our time should be updated by now.

My wife thought that guys can denounce kid and that they don't have to pay anything for it then. Boy, was she shocked when she dug into fathers' rights or the lack of those.

This sub just taught me this is called a “paper abortion”, and as a woman, I am in full and unreserved support of this. It should simply be called “universal reproductive rights”.

This move—allowing either parent to opt out of parenthood (starting with the woman’s right to abort)—would prevent SO MUCH child abuse, including but not limited to parental alienation and child trafficking.

Turns out monetizing children has dire consequences.

Yeah, many women frequently talk about how parenthood (they mostly say motherhood, but you get the point) is something very life-changing and that it should NOT be forced on anyone. So, I agree with them then, so long as a man is never forced to be a father when he doesn’t want to be.

This whole conversation is so silly. If you don't want to be a father don't release sperm into a woman. Only men have control of this part of the reproduction cycle.

Don't look at a woman and expect her to put poison in her body to kill a baby she still has to give birth to because you were sloppy and miss placed your swimmers.

Also don't look at the state and other people to pick up the bill for your negligence. If you're old enough to join the army and have sex, you're old enough to pay for the consequences of scratching your man itches.

You want father's to be able to withdraw as being a legal parent so that they do not have to pay for their children during the first stage of pregnancy?

I'm sorry but I tried re-reading but maybe my lack of sleep is catching up to me right now lol.
