Actually people of all ages have higher rates of depression and anxiety than in the past. However this is like saying that rates of violence against sex workers goes up when sex work is legalized. It’s not that it went up, it’s that it’s now being reported. Our grandmothers didn’t go to therapists and pop SSRIs, they drank martinis between baby feedings and binge ate at 3 am. Our grandfathers didn’t go online to talk about their frustrations. They got drunk, punched walls and signed up to get their asses blown off in foreign countries.

So I’d need to see more evidence that the causal factor is geometric activity versus it being one (if any) factor in a bigger ecosystem of social, economic and environmental problems.

Is there any evidence to suggest that a weakening of Earth's magnetic field is tied to anxiety? You cite a spike in anxiety over a ten-year period as evidence that a process happening over a 200-year period is the cause. Something else happened in those ten years... the iPhone 1 released in 2007. Wouldn't the documented effects of isolation and excessive social media usage be a more likely culprit for a spike in anxiety?

The video does not have a specific link to a study that claimed that the earth magnetic field has dropped by 20% in the last century.

I checked the NASA ESA Swarm probe website(where the video referred to as a source). It only claimed that the earth magnetic field strength on average has dropped only 9% in the last 200 years.

In particul, South America is the area where the magnetic field strength has dropped the most: from 24000 nT to 22000 nT in the last 50 years. If the change in magnetic field leads to breaking down in relations between the sexes, then we shoudl expect to see this effect most evidently in South American countries.
