I've said for decades that if men are so necessary that they have to keep doing their "male role" (working for money) for women even after divorce then all divorced women should be forced to go to their ex- three times a week and fuck them and clean and cook for them for as long as it takes the ex-husband to find a new wife. Cook and clean for any kids too.

Otherwise we're admitting women do nothing important in a marriage.

Similarly if young men are to be drafted for war young women should be drafted to serve as cooks and prostitutes for the army. That was historically the role of women in these wars but I guess the male role is necessary and the female role once again is useless. Except they weren't useless; prostitutes served a purpose for the men in the army and without them the men simply have to pick up the slack.

Equal rights for women we hear all about but never equal duties.

My wife demands I provide for the family. Work two sometimes three ways to earn money. I should be emotionally rock solid and patient take all the stress and never be upset or show frustration.

But let her make all the choices and if I make suggestions I’m being overbearing and bossing everyone around.

In india being impotent is considered as a valid reason for wife apply for divorce but it not the reverse. In India, one of the few non bailable crime where you can't escape a stay at police station is violence or crime against women. So it's misused as a threat tactic. In the capital Delhi it was found that 80% of cases on men by their female partner were false. This lead to a few precedence to limit comfort afforded to women during trial such as relocating the court at their convenience. SA against men is not considered in the Indian laws. Damaging a woman modesty is a crime in public verbally or physically. No modesty for men. If a partner claim you promised to marry her and then didn't, then the S***al relation is considered as SA by law. Cases where family members reported a relationship they didn't agree as SA or the situation above account to 50-70% of cases.

These laws are derived from older British penal code. Amendments are made regularly but as men right activism is neglected and women right keep adding baised clauses.

The media depict india as unsafe but it is just much in news. In actuality if you even multiple the cases by 10x to consider under reporting, india per capita is much lower than other countries. The false cases are so high that even bbc and gaurdian have reported it.

But don't worry we still have marital relationship with a very low divorce rate of 1.1%, though it's rising.

It isn't explained to men that they have signed up for a life of peonage, held in servitude and indentiture. Otherwise they might not sign. Nor is it made clear that a wife will get itchy feet if you are careless enough to lose your job.

Duty is a vestigial moral appendage from the days when men and women were considered a single entity, owning and being owned by each other able to do what they want with the body of the other, by rule of marriage, and also having expectations.

Now men must expect nothing from women, so duty is an archaic concept that still chains men to women while women are unchained from men.

Guys, nothing happens in a vacuum. While I totally don’t like the way society is sidelining men, things cycle. And the stricter women-loving laws came because people are greedy and will take advantage of the laws. The divorce laws slowly moved more in women’s favour because too many men were leaving their wives, hiding their money, and not paying alimony. They were taking advantage of loopholes in the law. So the laws became stricter. And now women are taking advantage of the loopholes. Holding India up a paragon of virtue for women’s rights, is laughable. Their past is pretty dark. And child marriage is still a thing there. It can be prevented according to the law, but once it happens, it can’t be declared illegal. But western laws used to be very skewed towards men. Or simply not enough to help women when they were wronged. Of course it’s uncomfortable now for men because it’s gone totally unbalanced the other way. But human nature means people will always take advantage of laws they can. We can only keep try to change the imbalances.
