It's really as simple as that. There should be nothing wrong with being shallow. But lying about it makes you seem like an asshat. If most women, every time they tried to leech money off of a man, or tried going for someone simply because of his looks or status or whatever else, men wouldn't have to second guess.

The problem, unfortunately, is that many women often don't even know what they want, even when the implication is clear and doesn't take a genius to figure out. They also seem to judge men based solely off of how they treat them, not how they treat everyone else around them.

How many times have you heard a woman say something along the lines of "I absolutely hate toxic men . My last few exes over the last few years were all like this. My friends warned me about him but I didn't listen."? Plenty. It's not always a case of being blindsided by love either. Plenty of women get warned by these men from their own female friends, because of how the man treats others, yet because of their hope for finding romance and feeling special and the man personally sending her a couple of lovey dovey messages, they stay committed.

You rarely hear a man complaining about how his last five girlfriends were psychotic while also lacking the self awareness to understand there's some attraction there. When men talk about it, they often admit to being attracted to crazy women. Women will almost never admit that they can be attracted to toxic men. This obviously and very clearly comes from a lack of ability to take responsibility.
