You do know that the man who people term as "Typical Nice Guy" generally is the one who has no spine of his own. People can persuade him, and mold him according to their own needs.

Now let's say a woman chooses the nice guy according to your logic and she is in a relationship with him. Now, let's say some other woman flirts with him, the chances are he will sway towards her as well. That's because he has no stand of his own.

The thing is there is no nice guy and bad guy thing, only bullshit terms made by society. The only difference is confidence in your own self as a man, which your "Typical Nice Guy" lacks.

I get why you'd think that, but being worshipped by someone you don't also want to worship or find valuable actually isn't that enjoyable. It seems like it would be, but not to get too biblical, everyone wants a worthy sacrifice or probably more accurately, someone equally worthy of worship.

People don't want to be the main character deep down, they want to be a significant character to other significant characters. This is why I'd argue to you most slice of life/romance/ you know kind of normal media features a cast of characters going through life's highs and lows together.

Now, when you're young or living in your trauma, do a lot of people think they want this unquestioning worship? SURE. . Just like when you're young or living in your trauma, you may want this more toxic, belittling, dehumanizing, and abusive relationship. But neither of these mistakes reflect what people want and what makes them happiest when they are healthy.

Just like obesity and anorexia aren't reflections of healthy diets, lifestyles, and body images. Do people do them? Absolutely. But they are mistakes people are making out of youth or living in their trauma.

The people decrying "Nice Guys" are usually at least out of one part of trauma, which is the need for unquestioned and unworthy worship. It's actually a good thing. Just like it will be a good thing when the "Nice Guys" learn that it is ok to be aggressive in appropriate circumstances, it is ok to have expectations, and their worship should be directed at a worthy receptacle that also worships in return.

You're making this WAY too complicated.

We want to date someone that treats us like a person? Someone who is supportive of us? Someone who doesn't see us as a hole to put their dick in. But like a living breathing sentient lifeform with our own thoughts experiences and emotions and should be respected and treated as such. I'm sure you would want someone who sees you a person a whole ass person instead of an ATM and a means to and end. And would support you and care for you too? It has nothing to do with gold and worship. And everything to do with does this person treat me like a person.

Nice and desperate are two different things. "Free worship" has nothing to do with nice.

And nice doesn't mean the relationship " only end if the girl said so"

Our culture has fucked us up so bad that nice guy is a rag, and so giving men a free pass to act like shit

What if she has many “gold” guys worshipping her? Is she going to choose all of them? If you inundate women with enough “gold” they want the diamond because it becomes more rare, special, and meaningful. If you inundate women with diamonds, they want platinum because it’s more rare, meaningful, and special.

Women’s standards adjust to want someone a little better than the quality of the bulk of their interest. The bulk could be coal, copper, silver, gold, whatever. The quality doesn’t matter so much as its abundance.
