This is why I get banned from those subs. Women have normalized this type of abuse, and they get together with other women to trash talk the men who provide for them, while they are at work providing for them. They've popularized this idea that just being a mother is a difficult job, and men owe them something, besides slaving away to earn them money. "I deserve so much more than this."

They do it in mobs with other women. The relationship subs on this site are one of their congregating places. Trash talking is a prelude to cheating, then assaulting their husband, then usually they claim they're an abuse victim and steal everything the man has provided for them.

I read the suggestion that the wife was depressed, and yeah, ok, I can see that. It really surprised me that the comment had 1.7k upvotes at the time I read it.

However, if the genders were flipped, men would NEVER get that consideration. He'd be lazy, abusive, and a man-child piece of shit.

He does literally everything for her, she does nothing, doesn't communicate her problems, doesn't work with him, just basically milks him for all he's worth, refuses to address the issues, and throws a temper tantrum when she doesn't get what she feels she is entitled to.

This is not depression, this is being selfish, ungrateful, and entitled.

I honestly can't tell what made me angrier.
The idea that she was incapable of putting a roast in the oven or taking a chicken out of the fridge... Likely wasn't even at home and cheating on him during those times.
The idea that she yelled at him for showing support to his daughter... Low self-esteem at best.

That’s some shit. I’ve had this talk with my wife especially since we are trying for our first child. I told I’m taking on my responsibilities around the house and I’m getting tired out and I need your help. If I don’t have to cook all the meals do the laundry grocery shop and clean the house all by myself I’d have more energy for sex. Men get married too young. No established career, no built up wealth, lack of formal education, lack of interpersonal skills, lack of fitness/diet, and no strong friend groups. Before any of that can build, they shut off their potential by getting married at 18-25 and then pump out three kids and later wonder why their lives suck. Teach your sons to be independent and hold their convictions and learn that women simply enhance life, they are not the end all be all.
