Hello Ladies! I was recently thinking about the dating climate and how in many parts of the world it’s basically trash. I was watching “The Big Bang Theory” and there was a reference there that “three dates means sex.” I was wondering if this was a “thing” prior to this show, I found it hard to believe that many women would do that since you don’t know a person after 3 dates, especially if you met them online - they could have lied about literally everything! On social media I did see this “sex on the third date” references so it means this concept has made it to the mainstream dating culture, which I believe puts pressure on women, devalues sex and is just harmful in general. Too late to combat it now, but I was thinking- what could we do to get “two years means a ring” into the mainstream culture? Yes of course, there is more to engagement than the amount of time dating but I think it would be helpful to women if such concept existed. Too many girls waste their best years in relationships that lead to nowhere and are ridiculed/called desperate/gaslit when inquiring about marriage. So ladies, what do you think it would take? Mentioning it in a popular show as if it was obvious is one idea, looking for more ideas here!
