Hello lovely community! A topic slightly different than usual, I was wondering which ones of you are happy in their job/career path? Does your job/career let you channel your feminine energy? If yes, how so? I’m currently on maternity leave awaiting the arrival of my little one. During this time as well as after she is born, I’m hoping to dedicate some time to do courses/gain skills for a potential career switch. I’m a very feminine person, in many ways but particularly when it comes to being relationship oriented - I love taking care of people, building connections and communities, while I despise competition, ambition focused environment of most companies. The high pressure and expectation to be assertive, sometimes almost aggressive, in the corporate work environment not only made me unhappy in previous jobs (worked in management consulting and HR departments in big name companies) but also showed me I would not be a good mom to my baby if I’m constantly so stressed and spend most of the day pretending to be someone else. I know many careers are off limits to me because I lack the educational background and skills, I’m just trying to get a sense of where the ladies of this community work and find happiness/fulfillment and perhaps consider options that I have not thought of before.
