There are a number of interesting angles to look at the way the definition of "misogyny" has broadened so widely in its scope – indeed, there isn't anything in existence that hasn't been slapped with the "misogynist" label at this point – and one of the most interesting is to consider it as an actual physical addiction to outrage. The feelings of righteous anger and personal victimhood that people experience can carry with them huge rushes of dopamine, and over time the increasing inability to achieve that same high creates serious withdrawal symptoms and feelings of depression and anxiety. Thus, people start to label more and more as "misogyny" in order to maintain that seem outrage "high", and so the scope increases ever further until the word is ultimately meaningless.

At that point, the natural evolution of language does its thing, and the word drops out of usage. A good example of this is the word "heretic", which used to be a very powerful and well-used word, until overuse drove it into "extinction". And like most overused, dead words, it ends up used only as a joke. For example, I have described myself as a "heretic" because I consider The Dark Knight to just be an "okay" movie.

Many words go through this kind of a "definition diffusion" and become dead over time, though what used to take decades or even centuries linguistically is now happening in almost real-time with the rise of online communication.

And there are dozens of other words like that, too, like VIOLENCE.

I watched a video today from CNN, where the 'expert' explained how the Antifa / BLM riots were not violent because they didn't harm people, only property. When the other person pointed out all the injuries, the person tried to claim that it was the victims' fault for defending their property.

It's true it's all ideologues.

We're seeing that talking about male suicide, boys lagging in school, male unemployment, parental alienation and more and more programs set up to only help (rich white women) are blocking men but using men's taxes to fund themselves. When you point this out it's called sexism.

Most likely something that was lying beneath but it is only showing now as men are beginning to question the systemic lies of feminism. IMHO even women are becoming suspicious of feminists as they draw attention away from women at the bottom to obsess over rich white women at the top.

They're happy with the real meaning being "hates women", because it allows them to pretend anyone that is doing something against the feminist agenda hates women

Its hilarious because it creates the same problem they're trying to solve (which may be the point). You can't have a real character as a "strong female lead" because you can't give her any serious flaws or attributes people won't like, or you're a misogynist, but then you're also a misogynist for having male characters that are better written, well rounded, have growth, etc. because they're more interesting and popular.

They've basically made it so that unless you're tearing men down and actively attacking them, you "hate women" (misogyny)

its not just that. you are correct that the boundaries and lines have shifted greatly to better fit a certain toxic narrative. its designed so to make more men "villains" in the pantomime.

Of important note if a cis-male heterosexual meets a 'women' who later states that they were a m2f transition, and that very said cis males refuses now to meet that woman because he would like children and his preference is so - he gets labelled as transphobic.

of important note here is that cis heterosexual women do exactly the same thing - and they will not be called transphobic but homosexual women will not have a problem with a f2m transition as they still see the "man" as a woman by virtue.

Traditional gender roles for women are very submissive and a sort of “don’t think for yourself, listen to what the MAN has to say!” type of thinking. It feels liberating in the modern day to break free from this way of thinking, knowing that there’s more than just following a man’s every will and whim.

About masculinity however, left unchecked it can lead to extreme bottling of emotions and self-loathing, varying outbursts of anger, possible random violence I suppose. Men should be allowed to express themselves freely in any environment without worrying about if they look too ‘feminine’ or too ‘gay’.
