This is kind of just a way for me to put down my annoyance and frustration. I discovered on reddit today that a subreddit called "beatingwomen" exists. I know there are a lot of fucked up reddits out there, and a lot of fucked up people. The posts are horrible and the comments are the most infuriating, stereotypical, and misogynistic responses I have ever seen.

One user tried to claim that the subreddit is a joke, but it looks serious. If it is a joke, they are unfunny and go purely off of shock value. I believe it is serious though, unless the commenters all keep up the facade as well.

I just wanted to bring it up and get the frustration off my back. As a male that believes in equality and loves Men's Rights, this disgusts me for fear of even being wrongfully associated with those "beatingwomen" assholes. Maybe it is fake. Maybe it is a fake page created by those who are against men's rights to make the rest of men look bad :P

I am just concerned that someone out there may see the "beatingwomen" sub and create more stereotypes of men. However, I do know a logical person can separate the few fucked-up from the many sane.

Edit: sorry to anyone that thought I put this here bc I believe men's rights has any affiliation with that group. I know they do not. I was just upset about this and thought others may be interested that there are things out there like this. The weak minded may use it as a standard for all men, but that is very illogical.

I wasn't really trying to make a statement or prove a point with this. Sorry if this is the wrong sub or anything for this post.
