Every time a beautiful and intelligent female celebrity says she hates feminists, I do an endzone dance.

It is often the most successful career women who shun feminism, and they do so because they have worked in the real world, and the higher you get, the easier it is to see the patterns of behavior that determine where people end up.

Who is the average feminist? A single mother? An entry-level intern? A college graduate with a job in a field unrelated to their women's studies degree? Unemployed? They lash out at the system and society, falsely believing that it's everything around them that's keeping them down, rather than their own poor choices or poor attitude.

There was a survey that found over 80% of Americans believe in gender equality, but only like 30% had a favorable view of Feminism. About the same amount had an unfavorable view, and the rest had a neutral view.

It seems more and more successful women are refusing to call themselves feminists. I wonder if they always were against being labelled as one, or if they had an epiphany one day and said "wow, there really is no such thing as the glass ceiling, I just have to put up with all the bullshit that men already do and I'll get the same opportunities!"
