Well my Hard core feminist sister, who is a lawyer so this does not just come out of thin air or not understanding the weight of what she was saying . She wanted reverse onus for all sex crimes ( since that was the case that we were discussing but I suspect that it would apply everywhere ) So all men accused are guilty unless the man can prove otherwise. The old lady says you peek in her windows , you are guilty unless you can prove that your were not there

Also doing away with Meas rea or the "guilty mind" ( which was a part of the case we were discussing ) So even if you did not intend to commit a crime you are still guilt of that no matter what

Example you run to catch the garbage truck in only your track pants and they snag on the garbage container and pants fall down and the old lady across the street sees your junk , You are guilty of flashing the old lady , you have no defence

And that is what a prodigious law school graduate who practices law and is a feminist believes our Justice system should be like , A woman says you did it , then you are guilty

They're trying to eliminate prison sentences for women convicted of a crime.

In Canada (and other countries) they are trying to make it so that female prostitutes are legal, but buying their services or anything else (such as being a pimp) is illegal.

All the articles I've read actually describe it that way. They mention that they only want it to be legal for female prostitutes, because of the "power men have over women".

They do take credit for the recent change of the FBI definition of rape, saying that they had it in mind to allow for male victims, but really all they wanted was for more women to be able to be classified as victims. They wanted women who are forced to have oral or anal sex to also be classified as rape victims, but they don't care about men. If they did they could have easily added some gender neutral language so that if a woman forces a man to have vaginal sex, then it's rape, but they did not, because that would acknowledge female rapists.

They're trying to block changes to laws like the definition of rape if those changes would make the definition more equal to include male victims.

I don't see much of anything though that they are campaigning for any more. In the 1970s and 1980s they had shield laws for rape (anti-male bias in law) and then in more the 1980s they had sexual harassment laws (criminalizing the male role in dating), and in the 1990s they had VAWA (sex segregation of victims of violence and denial of services to male victims).

But what have they done recently?

I think they've been getting stuff done in the UN and aid agencies across the 00s whereby those agencies ignore male victims and push for anti-male discrimination. Don't know much about that though.

And at home the only recent stuff i can think of is the Slutwalk stuff which just seems like fucking around like Halloween combined with a sense of entitlement and narcissism.

Part of it is that the feminist movement is thoroughly institutionalized at this point. They don't have to pass laws now because they are the ones running the government offices. They are the ones deciding how Title IX will be interpreted at the federal office level for example and so they set rules saying a male student accused of rape must be railroaded. They got the pro-female stuff written into the way the "shovel ready" jobs money was handed out. Same with throwing in all that discrimination against men in Obamacare. The same goes for their positioning at offices of the UN for pressing for female advantage overseas. None of thise required any feminist lobbying to speak of. It's hard to protest about anything when you're the one running the show.

To be entirely fair, "systemic oppression" is broader than political/legal oppression. The political/legal system is one social system, and clearly an extraordinarily important one, but it isn't the only one.

Cultural systems (which may not have the force of law but do influence thought patterns and cultural expectations and social norms) do matter, and one can describe these systems as being systemically "oppressive" (at least if you mean the term in a non-political sense, although I can understand if one would rather reserve the term for political oppression).

Actually they're working to maintain a great many traditional type laws. Like rape and DV being things men do to women exclusively.

On our end, VAWA and the ACA both need to be rewritten to be inclusive for both genders. Currently men get the short end of the stick when it comes to both.
