Feminists only recognize the men at the top. It's obvious from all their writings that men in the lower 90% just don't factor in to their worldview.

When they talk of men they they refer to CEOs, politicians, high paid engineers, etc.

Homeless men don't exist in their world.

So when they discuss equality they mean they want women equal (at a bare minimum) to the men at the top.

Wow the US is a fare more egalitarian society in the UK 93% of the homeless are men. Though obviously all these things are a result of "toxic masculinity" or some new BS reason. Even when most men commit suicide when being forcibly separated from their children for example. Oh wait who is doing the harm to both father and children? Oh yes a woman.

Even when you bring up men's issues like this to feminists, they'll just say "well, when 50% of presidents are female / when women never get cat called / when women always earn the exact same as men / etc. then we'll talk about male issues"

It doesn't matter to them how men are suffering; if there's a single sphere where women aren't doing equal to or better than men (even if it's not due to discrimination, like the earnings gap), then there's "male privilege" that needs to be fought

And sometimes even when women are statistically fewer victims (e.g. homelessness, genital mutilation, violence in general) they'll make it into a women's issue by solely focusing on how many female victims there are. It's all the same as we knew: they're gynocentric and don't care about men's problems

note: The "sleeping rough" homeless is much higher as a percentage of men than simply "homeless". Men make up the worst situations of homelessness, too, because there are so few resources for men. Don't forget that they "fight for equal rights" however men have less rights and women have more already. 1. Reproductive rights. 2. Protection by law for genital mutilation. 3. The right to not be drafted into war.

So you don't understand what Male Privilege means. The whole point of the theory it comes from is to look at how it interacts with other forms of privilege. In particular it may not help you very much if you lack neurotypical privilege and are towards the bottom of the wealth privilege scale.

One thing I recently noticed is Ive never seen a homeless woman on the street. While I myself have been looking for social housing for several years, I noticed that there are lots of hostels and charities to support 'abused women', but none at all for men. Also single parents with kids, which in the majority of cases would be women, are also given priority over single peoplw needing social housing for any reasons including abuse, relationship breakdown, or disability. The schemes around supporting people into social housing are heavily skewed towards supporting many more women than men.

I did finally get offered a social house after several years on the list, and getting an urgent need for housing assessment from my council earlier this year mostly due to homophobia in my family home.

Could stick on there having to woo women romantically; having to pay more on dates; needing a decent place to live, a car and a good job to get a decent partner; unable to defend yourself against a woman physically.
