On a full bus, I give up my seat if I have a short journey ahead (I'll be closer to the door if I stand) or they are disabled, pregnant, feeble or the room is needed for a stroller/luggage, etc.

Just being a woman doesn't register with me anymore. First come first serve.

If it's a pregnant woman, an elderly woman, or a woman with a visible disability (cain or some shit, but I'd do the same for a guy in the same situation). That's one thing. But some young health roastie. Fuck no. She can learn to stand like the rest of able-bodied America.

This sub is (was) primarily about sharing real world stories or clips where a woman would lean on the fact that she was a women to get special treatment and then shot down. Or, similarly, a situation where we as the audience would expect one outcome due to double standards, but then be relieved that gender played no role in the consequences received.

I've only seen seats given to elderly and strollers and young children and such.

I have to pick a nit here. A pregnant woman may not look it, but nonetheless may feel nauseous and may benefit from a seat.
