Concern trolling.

We are not anti-lgbt, in fact we have quite a lot of gay members, and trans men post here regularly.

"People" saying that, and this post, are trying to actively create that association. It doesn't exist, and we won't tolerate the presumption that it does.

It is also not our responsibility to actively do things to counter that claim, as that is exactly what the bullshit concern trolling is meant to do: Sap our energy/resources into random other nonsense so we become less of a threat to their personal feelings of power.

I'm a centrist independent who use to spend as much time in "gay" clubs as "straight" clubs. Lived with a drag queen. On October 31st of this year I am walking a young gay man down the aisle as he marries his life long love. They literally met in kindergarten. Yeah id say i don't fit that stereotype.

Well I am probably just right of centre here in the UK so that would probably make me left of centre in the USA and I am what you would call generally positive on LGBT, but I have no problems on calling out fuckwits on the LGBT+ side.

Actually it would probably be better to say pro LGBT and anti LGBT+.

Why wouldn't some feminists, and some regular women want to shut down guys who say some feminists and some women are misandrists? What better way to do that than point out only the more extreme anti-feminists? I'm sure some MRAs ARE opposed to LBBTQ+ rights. But, some feminists are murderers, sociopaths, and all manner of evil. That doesn't make it correct to say the whole movement is about murder.

A previous poll here revealed that the slight majority of people in this sub are either left wing or left-leaning. As for Trans people, I judge people based on their character. Not on their race, religion, or gender.

Technically, I hold left wing values but I'm neither left nor right wing.

I admit that I don't feel welcome as a man on LGBT forums on social media due to rampant misandry. However, I don't have anything against them simply because they're gay, lesbian, bi or trans.

They're individuals so I am cool with them as long as they're cool with me but that goes for anyone and isn't something exclusive to people who identify as LGBT.

I have more gay friends than I do straight. Most of them are pro-MRA but a few are not.

I've voted for democrats in the past, but like Reagan, I feel the Democratic party has left where I was. I've never voted for a Republican, but I 100% feel more comfortable disagreeing with a Republican because I won't be called a leftist if I disagree with them, but ever time I've disagreed with a democrat I get called alt-right.
