I still don't understand why there's been such an uprising in the form of "feminazis". I've spoken with both sides of the argument, and have met women who love the idea of a 1940's marriage where the man is the boss and the woman is subservient. I've also met plenty of women who want a 50/50 split of responsibilities in a relationship, which I personally share. I've met men who like the idea of being stay at home dad's with their wives/girlfriends working to support the family. And I've met men who want to be breadwinners and men who want it 50/50 as well.

What confuses me really is why there's a pervaying narrative that MEN period, are all bad as a whole with no redeeming qualities and deserve nothing less than being forced to grovel to women. Which I don't agree with. It's suppose to be an equal yolk, a shared burden, etc.

I don't think this sub will get shut down. for the most part everyone is civil and offers very intelligent conversation with very little name calling.

it would be a last straw for a lot of people if one of the only intelligent subreddits were shut down.

If they use an Eropean hosting they are protected by the EU laws regarding hosting, and trust me, you cannot even stop a pirate website to air without a very damning and direct court order.

Why the hell still rely on shitty libtard US services (that are also shitty and unreliable as hell) when you can get any other hosting from EU or Asia at the same price, with better support, better infrastructure and protected by the laws...

I'm increasingly worried about people becoming increasingly worried.

We have schoolkids coming on here scared of high school because there are girls there, and young men being recommended to record their whole life on video or use consent apps, it is like we are trying to create an incel army.

TRP's quarrantine link has been removed or changed now.
There is obvously plenty of scope for increasing MR's moderation if that were necessary so I don't see an existentail threat.

The way I see it, doing such a thing will only create more supporters of men's rights, so it'll be a loss/win.

You and many like you will stop posting, but many others will simply risk getting banned/downvotes in more mainstream/neutral subreddits. In the best case scenario it could result in more supporters of men's right being more active in mainstream subreddits, but I'm probably being too optimistic.

This is purely speculation, but typically when people are so passionate about an important subject like this its literally not possible to censor them all. Taking down the other subreddits will only bring more into subreddits like this. Once they are all gone? More subreddits will be created. "But those subreddits will get banned too" yes, and then the whole process repeats.

Men's rights is more humanist, and more fact based than feminism is. It just holds more weight, and in my opinion is far less attractive to extremists looking for something to help push their toxic beliefs. I don't see how banning this sub would do anything but just create so many more MRAs.

one could still setup/create a webserver of our own.

use bulletproof hosting from a "other end of the world" country.

hide it behind a tor hidden service (to avoid any ability of opponents to get back to the hoster).

However this would need to be spread by word of mouth, link dropping/spreading and similar techniques, since the in-platform spillover from likeminded subs would vanish.

People from the tech world have warned for decades about the dangers of social media aka the walled garden / platform model, but they were laughed at for being paranoids... sigh

Wouldn't be a bad thing. The sub has become complacent. But I guess that's not all bad either. Feminist censorship is a fact of life. It's what they do. It's a bit weird to constantly attack a powerful authoritarian social movement and expect nothing bad to happen because of it.

I share your concerns, but for a different reason. Also i'm pretty damn sure i'm going to get downvoted to hell for saying this.

First, I want to say that I know full well that the only people who become MRAs are those who have been hurt and victimized. Contrast that with feminism, and you soon realize what the MRM represents: men responding to a society that has personally hurt us and refuses to execute justice on our behalf.

Second, I know full well there are a fuck ton of guys on here who are way too hurt to have anything but complete and utter hatred for anything and anyone who enjoins themselves with anything labeled 'feminism'.

So trust me when I say that yes, a lot of the men here are too toxic and jaded for their own good, but second, I also know that we need a safe space where we can talk about the things that fucked us over in the first place and heal, together, away from the influence of those who objectify us and treat us like we're disposable.
