Well, apart from a woman being head of state, prime minister, scottish first minister (and opposition leader), leader (And shadow leader) of the house of lords, first minister of N.I./head of DUP, and several other political parties and organisations are also lead by women. And let's not forget that the lead voice on the other side of the Brexit negotiations is the most powerful person in European politics - Angela Merkel, I'm at a loss to see exactly where the men are that are ignoring anything.

So if women are genuinely being "ignored", it's certainly not by "privileged men", it's by the many "privileged women" who currently claim most of the top seats. It's only cushy for the people at the top, why do you think so many working class and generally normal people are against the EU? There's a reason it's nothing but big business and banks genuinely support the EU and even the arguments of remainers are weak because it mostly revolves around economics and each time the fear mongering over the economic impact of leaving the EU they get proven wrong every time.

Adding to that, there's the issue of sovereignty and immigration, issues which remainers refused to even discuss and still refuse. With immigration especially it was always screams of racism and xenophobia whenever anybody on the leave side brought it up.

That is why we won, no amount of whining will change that and if I have to work to boot out the major parties to prevent them from fucking over this country out of spite I will. The EU is a protectionist trading bloc that never favours the UK and does everything it can to fuck them over.

Of course rich people love it they get to go to brussels and receive money and direct benefits from the organisation constantly and yes the people who are in charge of that organisation are completely unelected. People like me however receive no such benefits from being a member and niether do most of the population

Over a quarter of the population did not vote. Yes this is higher than typical votes, but this is also a much much more important vote, and with the gap between the two sides being as small as it was (3.5%) it's very much a valid question.

In addition there's also the proof's of Russian spy networks attempting to affect the vote, although any impacts have not been metricised so that may have been ineffectual.

Then there's the fact that the Leave campaign broke spending laws for it's campaign, which again, hasn't been metricised but brings valid question into the results.

Factually speaking, this vote shouldn't have passed on a simple majority in the first place. Plenty of votes require significant majority to pass (60% or higher in favour). It's pretty absurd that a similar restriction was not in place for this one. Especially if we divide down into member states where Scotland voted with significant majority to remain, and NI voted to remain by a 10% margin (England and Wales voted to leave with 5% margins)

Epic Facepalm. The EU gets us a better deal from the World Trade Organization because they have more clout as a large group than we do as an individual country. And we'll be an individual country when Scotland and Ireland are forced to break up the UK just to stay in the EU.

This is suicidal and why I hate the idea of a second referendum because remainers and leave voters alike are going to vote against her deal.

Because Brexit is a stupid idea and this is literally the best deal she can get because the EU doesn't want countries to think they can renegotiate for a larger slice of the pie by leaving.

I am going to bring up the fact that all the economists and universities out there who screech about Brexit also receive money from the EU so is it any wonder their viewpoints are so extreme and pro-EU?

True. And it will be completely offset by everything we lose. Including the billions they give us directly, and the trade, and everything else. We'll probably end up paying just as much just to stay in the single market. It also does not take into account anything else we'll get.

Look I don't dispute that's what fishing quotas were originally set up for, but the fact is that's what they are not used for now. Different countries from other areas can actually coming and take British fish whenever they feel like it due to this quota system and there is also an issue of food wastage yet again due to fisherman being forced to catch a certain tonnage of fish.

This means that they get caught and they're thrown away oh and do you know about pulse fishing? It's a practice done by other countries in our waters that actually completely destroy the environment and every living thing in the area which means that the stocks aren't going to recover anyway. Or did you conveniently forget about the protest in London over this issue where Bob Geldof went and stuck his finger up at the fishermen protesting about quotas?

As for the supermarkets, it's not just them it affects anybody exporting or importing food across the member states, you should know this if you've done any research on the topic.
