First of all let me say how great everyone here has been. Like many of you my wife went to her attorney crying, shaking the hole 9 and made such a show of it that the head of the firm took her case. She used the money from our joint household account to pay the retainer, but unfortunately that meager sum will dry up. She has no job and no alternative income. I cut all payments to the joint account which she was planning on using to pay when the retainer ran out. With her attorney so invested in her story what are the chances that when it runs out and she can no longer pay that he will work pro bono?
