TW I’m pretty sure I was date raped but I don’t remember. When I got there, I said hi and confirmed his name. He said that wasn’t his name, I must have remembered wrong, how embarrassing for me. I should have left then. I knew, deep down, something was wrong. I don’t misremember names. I remember drinking one beer and was given a free shot by the bartender. Maybe that’s when it happened, I don’t know. I blacked out soon after that. I remember being in a car with him outside of the restaurant. I blacked in while driving home and I just felt scared to death, like I was running away. I was speeding and I got a DUI. The next morning I asked him what happened and if we had sex and he was really rude and said something like “well how much can happen in a car?” Everything can happen in a car. I had bruises all over my thighs. I didn’t pursue it because I hated myself and wanted to die after getting the DUI, but whenever I hear stories like this it triggers something inside of me and I feel sick and need to distract myself. I don’t want to remember. This is the first time I’ve told anyone this in detail. I feel like no one would believe me.

Thank god I don’t drink. Also would not buy a drink for a man I never met. Just hate how men say in a way where someone is like “sure no prob,” because they want to believe people are good hearted.

Ah, yea. It's not confirmed if it is human trafficking but it's creepy and disturbing nonetheless. It's the story that made me stopped with dating apps altogether even though I hadn't used it in a while.

Why would I accept a drink, dinner, etc. from a stranger? I don't know you, I didn't come here to meet you, I don't want to waste my time on you. I just go home if my date doesn't show up.
