Sensitive, just as any man with a penis.

I think people want to believe one belief or the other without actual experience, & it honestly shows.

Sure, everyone is curious, but some people here act like I'm missing a necessary organ, or a part of the brain.

It's just excess skin, & I don't think it will still have gone on for this long if there were INSANE differences like some people LOVE TO CLAIM just for the attention & to persuade people to agree with them.

I'm not trying to convince anyone, I just think some people are being real assholes to circumcised men, for an immoral, unjustified reason. So if a boy was circumcised at birth that makes him the offender in your eyes? People here need to clear there damn mind, FFS, that's actual insanity. Obviously not everyone thinks that, but there are some.

Like I said before, have a nice day. Oh, & to you specifically, thanks for not attacking me. So much for "pro-men" when everyone is attacking each other.

The tip of the foreskin, dude. Not the head of the penis.

The tip of the foreskin is the most sensitive part of the penis. It's more sensitive than the head, and it has a different type of sensation than the head, due to the totally different type of innervation it has.

There are sensations that stimulating the tip of the foreskin provides that are not the same sensations one gets from stimulating the head. If someone's foreskin tip is cut off, those sensations can't be given to them because they don't have a foreskin tip to stimulate.

A lot of guys have some residual foreskin tissue left over. If a circumcised man's penis is two colors (regular skin towards the base, turning into a lighter colored mucosal tissue towards the glans), the lighter tissue was actually what used to be the smooth interior of their foreskin.

Unfortunately the smooth mucosa of the foreskin doesn't have the same innervation you find in the ridged band, which basically always gets destroyed by circumcision because it's right at the tip of the foreskin, so even less extreme circumcision styles still end up removing it.

The foreskin is sensory tissue in itself, not just a protective covering for the head of the penis. The sensory capacity of tissue a man no longer has is zero, because that tissue is quite literally dead and gone.

"Trimmed skin" that has no medical benefit and causes a slew of potential health issues. Also, surgical procedure implies the use of at least local anesthetic, which cannot be used on infants. The foreskin is clamped and cut off, and these babies who were born minutes beforehand have to experience that without so much as a local anesthetic. There are reports of the babies screaming at the top of their lungs until they have no more air with which to scream.

Also, since it is a purely cosmetic procedure with no proven medical benefit, I would, in fact, deem it to be mutilation. Even if performed correctly, it results in keratinization, great loss of sensitivity, and potential issues later in life. One such issue is when the boy reaches puberty, but the skin surrounding the penis doesn't have enough skin to accommodate the organ. This results in painful erections for those effected by it, and can occur in a circumcision that has been performed properly.

But, since you're in such favor of it, maybe you'd deem female circumcision at birth as not being mutilation, either? After all, the number of medical benefits and health risks are the same. And that is a surgical procedure, after all.

Speaking as a woman, I'd prefer not to have healthy tissue removed from my genitals and see no justification in having it done to someone else simply because they have a penis instead. If me being circumcised at birth is seen as mutilation, I fail to see the difference.

And yet you don't view it as being mutilation, even though the descriptions if how the procedure is performed is by all rights, violent. And since a circumcised penis does look markedly different from an uncircumcised one, I'm pretty sure that gets the "disfiguring" qualification. You're arguing ways to make it seem less barbaric than it is. Don't get mad at me just because I point that out

The level of sensitivity loss can be measured by how many nerve endings are damaged during the process. I'm also going off of the countless testimonies of my friends and people I have personally met, including those who have undergone the procedure later in life. I don't have to have a penis to be able to assess facts, and if my lacking one means that I'm not allowed to speak on a clearly barbaric practice, then it's a good thing I've never cared much for rules when they get in the way of common sense.

Circumcision, contrary to popular belief, has no proven medical or even hygienic benefit. All of the "studies" that support circumcision are actually based off of the reports of Dr. Kellogg, who insisted that it was healthier back in I believe the 70s and also cited circumcision as a way to ensure that teenage boys wouldn't masturbate. Sadly, by the time his statements were disproven, it had already become mainstream to have your son's foreskin cut off af birth. As it stands, it causes decreased sensitivity, keratinization, and a slew of potential health hazards. The procedure is done without so much as even a local anesthetic, so these infant boys are strapped to a table mere minutes after birth and forced to undergo the excruciatingly painful process of having their foreskin clamped and then cut off. There are reports of these babies screaming at the top of their lungs until they literally run out of air to scream. And given that there are, again, no medical or hygienic benefits, I and many others view it as an entirely barbaric practice that is by all definitions, mutilation. In fact, many countries are now making it illegal to circumcise at birth. And that's not even taking into account the problems that can arise from it from botched procedures, such as painful erections due to the skin surrounding the penis not having enough loose skin to actually accommodate the organ.
