Not super psyched that they chose this image as an example of men "running" the world. Young men die in wars waged by those too old and rich to fight in them.

Edit: Nothing against soldiers. I'm a ARNG soldier myself. My problem is with the powers at the top that use brave and honorable men like pawns in their chess game of global resource control.

Rulers rule the world, regardless of gender. Men have just been more easily made to do the bidding of the rules because our culture has insisted it's our masculine duty to follow orders from our superiors. Men are used as much as women, just in different ways. No Englishmen were like "I can't follow my orders because Queen Victoria is a women". They followed orders.

I'm Dutch and I'm definitely not proud of our country. Positive discrimination is allowed by law here. And there are some institutions only hiring women at the moment.

Also immigrants can have 2 passports. A dutch one and the one they're from, but when a native dutch person were to emigrate somewhere else they would have to sign away their dutch passport.

And that's just two of the many things wrong with our country. But keep being proud because some unit posted something on Instagram.

I don't like this. It feeds division when it's not necessary. There's no reason to put one sex above another. Just say thank you to men for all they do for the world, don't put women down in the process.
