If male only conception tech beats female only conception tech the feminists will have an aneurysm and outlaw it.

Its okay for them to develop reproduction without sperm, but its against nature to develop reproduction without a woman's body. Its actually a religion, the sacred feminine. And its even worse than you imagine it is.

In all seriousness though I'm really glad this technology is advancing so rapidly. If we manage to perfect it within my lifetime it would be amazing.

It would make men less dependant of women to have offpring, more free. Now, you could argue that for society to function properly men and women need to work as a team, as two different parts that makes a whole, but we won't go back to anytime soon anyways and I doubt will ever go back to that so I'm happy with more freedom.

I find this all very interesting... especially when it comes to the whole abortion issue.

Basically every time I debate abortion and I argue that men should have a say, or at least the equivalent right in the form of paper abortion, feminists/women shut me down, saying "it's a women's body, it's her choice".

Fine. I then ask them the question, if/when artifical wombs become a thing (with the ability to extract embryos from the woman's womb and put them into artifical ones), will abortion rights go away, since women don't have to put up with the risk of "carrying the baby"? The answer is ALWAYS "no". Because abortion is NOT about pregnancy, it's about PARENTHOOD.

Yet when it comes to men, suddenly the flip the script and say it's because women "make" the baby (which is false of course) and "their bodies get hurt" or something along those lines. So if that bodily risk were to go away, then so should abortion in general, correct?

"But what if the woman isn't ready to be a mother? What if she doesn't want a child?"

Hilarious. But when a man isn't ready to parent or doesn't want the kid, he's still a monster for not wanting to provide or be there.

In shot, it's really interesting how this scientific development regarding artitifical wombs completely and utterly exposes the abortion issue and the female hypocrisy behind it.

"My body my choice. Not my body, still my choice. His body not his choice. Not his body, still not his choice. His wallet, my choice". That's basically what it all boils down to.

Logical response: "Oh good men can just have babies alone without having to yield to the current garbage and then raise strong male children and possible fair-minded female children".

But do you think "they" will really let that happen?

More like "Oh good now we can make almost all female offspring and we will allow some male children to be born but only to lesbian couples or other lesbian polyships."

And the boys will probably end up tagged and having to complete 10 years of "Female-oriented compassion education" or some such junk between the ages of 0 and 9 that comes complete with thick bronze bracelets around each wrist.

Yes and no.

I could have a baby without having to worry about the shitty women in this world. I could also have a kid and only pay for their expenses not the mothers.

I don't like the idea of it though personally. I'd like to find a woman I can spend my life with. What is a child without the sharing of experience. I want a feminine energy to match my more masculine energy. Both of us have different lessons to teach our child.

Also ultimately raising a kid is far more easier with two parents in the home. As much as I'd love to be risk free I'd also like the help raising my children. I do not want to be like feminist and say I don't need no female. I do. I need someone to be there for me and my children and I the same.

If I was insanely rich my response may be different but idk I've always wanted a partner to love and cater to. Eventually the kid will grow up and I know I'll need someone. Anyone that says otherwise is lying. We are social creatures.

Something of this unique caliber, can end up being a hydra of multiple proportions in which it's intended nature can be used irresponsibly, successfully, and also weaponized depending on the actors involved.

On the side of success look no further than the movie Gattaca. Couples that are unable to conceive children now have the ability to do so by means of this system. Now the flip side of that is blatant throughout the film discrimination against natural born people versus those who are artificially grown. This is also linked to the adoption system in the U.S.

One question that does need to be addressed is who gets top priority to this system? In my opinion it should be single men, and gay men/couples. One counter argument that could be thrown against feminist groups, or women who would protest that women should get access to it first, would be the availability to sperm banks. There are no current "egg banks," that are open to single men who wish to use a donor's eggs in order to create a child.

Going forward there will still be a lot more roadblocks to work out which will pop up from both men and women, who solely see that procreation should strictly be through natural means.

In short it's a good thing for single men, but at it's core it will reveal a more painful truth that women will not want to confront. It will show them that men do not need women as much as they falsely perceive. You'll see just how ugly this will be politicized, to limit Men's reproductive rights; anything that takes power away from women without them receiving critical attention from Daddy Government will be a threat to their existence.

Here’s what I think should happen (I’m a woman, btw). I think all babies, male and female should be sterilized at birth in a way that’s reversible.

In order to have a child you should have to prove you are financially stable, pass an IQ and mental health exam and not have any genetic markers that you could pass on.

I know that sounds harsh, but if you have to take a test to just get a drivers license then you have to pass one to have a kid.

Artificial womb is an idea that would be unstoppable once it is perfected in my opinion, it ticks all the right boxes as it can be extremely profitable and both men and women atleast from the elite class should support it. We can already see so much support and use of surrogacy among the elite class and ectogenesis is the logical evolution. In addition it could be godsend for many governments in countries facing stagnant population growth and/or depopulation.
