This rejection can be from a man but also from anyone. I personally struggle with being sensitive to rejection from anyone, and I wonder how you can maintain composure, kindness, and graciousness when someone rejects you.
I have lately worked on becoming more open, joyful, and welcoming to others in my life. And I think feminine traits center around receiving others and being kind. But when someone either doesn’t respond to these invitations, directly rejects you, or (in the case or romantic relationships) breaks up with you, how can a woman maintain grace? More often it’s the case that I crumble and turn cool toward someone quite quickly.
I’d love to know of any stories or examples you’ve experienced or seen in others.
Edit: Clarification of terms.
