My God do I ever...Three positive drug tests were wrong. The hair follicle test though...lets not talk about that. She has prescriptions for Adderall and the meth showing up in the tests could not have been possible. Even though everyone I talk to in town calls her a tweaker. She doesn't know this guy or that guy or that girl, even though my PI has pictures to prove it. She's got emergency after emergency and that's why she can't let children and youth services in her house. You name it man I'm hearing it and it just isn't stopping, no matter the evidence presented in the court in front of a judge. I call her lawyer "The Female Spawn of Satan and my ex is "The Queen of Lies".

How do I handle it. Ugh I don't handle it well, that's for sure. I'm at least lucky enough to have a court recorder putting everything into record so I can come back at the next trial to prove that this bitch can't be believed even if she is just telling you her name. I do no communicating with her, even if it's just about the weather, unless it's in writing.

Yep it’s a given. Once you reach the enlightenment stage of understanding you know exactly why they do it. It is a coping mechanism for them. A survival instinct.

Rather than have to deal with the self scrutiny that comes from internal evaluation, the easiest thing to do is simply ignore reality for them.

Constantly and relentlessly. She’s like the terminator of truth. She just does not stop. It can be as small as what she ate for lunch. Bizarre.

I once told my ex to her face ‘you lie about everything’ when she was clearly lying to me. It’s tough to deal with because the lies are so bad you have to feel like they’re only doing it because think you’re an idiot. It’s VERY frustrating.

So how to deal? Everything in writing. Also you have to pick your battles on what to challenge. Trying to prove every little lie will drive you insane. Keep receipts. If proof just falls in your face write it down for future reference. Live your life and don’t worry about theirs. Good luck.

Mine has lied to deny me access to our kid, lied to try and move out of state, I don’t believe there has been one filing or interaction she hasn’t lied about something! It used really spin me up that she got away with this stuff, now I just expect it from her. My advice is to screenshot messages and use the parenting apps and do your very best to keep a paper trail.

The lying didn’t start when she became your ex bud. We filed in March but looking back I don’t think she’s told me the truth about really anything since 2021.
