So this 40+ yo woman over Tinder contacts me. We quickly switch to Whatsapp and she has a friendly voice and is open-minded.

After a while she keeps talking endlessly about her life and how she is having health problems, telling me all sorts of problems she is facing.

Turns out the picture from Tinder is quite a few years old and she isn't 40 but something around 50 I'd say. She keeps talking with me like if I was a potential partner and how her hopes are still there. I'm 30, relatively good looking, have quite a bit to offer and am definitely on a higher league than her.

As soon as I told her that it wouldn't work out she answered "I am not dependent on men".

Just in general - WTF. She was quite ugly, she talked nonstop about herself, was much older than originally stated, has lots of health problems, doesn't exercise and lived 200 km away. How the fuck can people like her seriously think she has a chance?

Don't flag this as a rant post because I seriously want to ask the men and women over here. Do you seriously think men and women have the same standards?
