I'm not really concerned because of the Reverse Uno that was started back in 2021 where instead of being respected, they started being seen as the clowns they are (hence why some of the smarter ones have separated themselves from Red Pill rhetoric). Tate uses a lot of "dark patterns" BS too.

They're not as respected as they and many others believe. Even Tate, with 6 million followers (most of which are very likely paid bot accounts) can only manage maybe 1k-5k average retweets/activity. That's a really suspicious and telling analysis on an account that's owned by a 'big and powerful Red Piller'.

Even Tate is seen as a walking chode to many because he can't even stick to what he preaches. He's an insult to the religion he preaches and honestly seen as one of those garbage pastors who hoards millions of dollars and calls it "tithe", but actually spends it on jets, vacations, coke, and hookers...and Bugattis.

Just look at the numbers. They're barely impacting anything anymore. They've got to hide in private groups, come up with fake testimonials that can't stand up against the slightest scrutiny, and even his own site says they've only got 200k in their super-exclusive-but-open-to-all groups (wut).

They're pathological liars who have now been exposed as the awful "business" men they say they are (but can't back that up either), gain their "riches" off the backs of people who are vulnerable, they're 'science dumb', have to tightly edit things to "prove" weak points, and the list goes on.

Most people see them for exactly what they are, but you can't save everyone. 😕

I hate the red pill. It's bad advice followed by desperate and mostly terrible people. It harms women, and the idiots that poison their mind with it. But it's not as prevalent as you think, it's still a very niche subculture.

It concerns me in the fact that there are a group of unhealed men that are clinging together with other unhealed men to exacerbate insecure attachments and make broad judgments about women. In my opinion, there should be more focus on getting together and fixing the root or core wounds and supporting each other in that manner. I wholeheartedly disagree with watching videos of people (specifically dealing with women, because that’s what it seems to deal with for red pill) behaving in ways that justify them to say “ See? They’re all like that! I told you!” Instead of seeing them as hurt individual humans, and dealing with them in that manner. Nothing good comes from sweeping judgement based on fear. History has taught that lesson many times over

I am a middle aged woman with teenagers, and I teach high school. I am a little concerned for my kids’ and students’ well-being, because this ideology is poisonous. So far, everyone seems to treat it like a joke, which is promising.

Tbh, I’m way, way more concerned about trad conservatives. There’s certainly a bit of overlap in ideology, but the current traditional conservative movement is crazy dangerous because they’re making fundamental changes to people’s rights through the law and courts. We have elected people advocating for the reinstatement of at-fault divorces and making abortion so illegal or unattainable that women with wanted babies are being maimed or dying and 10-12yo’s are being forced to become mothers. Birth control, a necessity for a truly equal society, is increasingly on the chopping block at the state level. You have politicians fighting hard to keep age of consent laws as low as possible and child marriages of any age still legal. Women who don’t look feminine enough are being physically attacked and stalked and harassed by “tranvestigators” not to mention the hatred and violence towards actual trans people (which is grounded in misogyny and sexism). Male and female influencers and public leaders are being increasingly vocal about women’s place in the home, about women ruining the workforce by providing competition for men, and about women’s purpose as breeders foremost. It’s not hard to see a potential exclusion of women from various realms of society in certain regions within the next decade. It scares the shit out of me.

Sort of.

I was thinking about it though, and how for instance this is the first generation of kids that even has space to be pro LGBT, and attitudes there are getting much better. This generation also talks openly about things like consent, etc. Women have obviously made huge gains over the last 100 years. Racial awareness is growing. If you talk to teens on average they are just better about this stuff than my generation is, and my generation is better about it than my parents' generation was, and so on.

In short, it's a slow process and there is backlash, but progressive ideals are winning out over time.

This kind of red pill shit has been around forever under a million different names, but it can all be loosely seen as reactionary thought. The reaction being to the fact that society's ideals overall are shifting to a better place and some people just get mad about that.

What I do think has changed though is incel violence seems to be on the rise, often related to red pill ideas about women. I'm not sure about this though, it was probably always around but now people have a name for it.

And as a high school teacher I've definitely had boys that are already deep into this thought in high school and that is troubling. The Internet makes it too easy to go down a dark hole when you're young. I'm old and we didn't even really have the Internet when I was a teen so yeah you got people with shit ideas but it was harder for teenagers to find them.

So there is good news and bad news I guess.

Also, clear your history. Clear your watch history, remove your likes. Delete comments. Or start a new account. But yeah you have to establish a sort of pattern against that content for the algorithm to stop pushing it, and it'll still sometimes try. Watching the creators and videos in that playlist will help train your algorithm and turn it toward pushing you content that's anti-redpill. Instead of fresh & fit raw you'll get people dunking on them (less so now as they are falling into irrelevancy)

Nowhere is it more evident than on Reddit. I’ve been following and studying this movement for many years, but had a few gaps during which I thought that it would drop off, and when I came back to look again, I was shocked that it is mainstream. And it’s as dumb as ever.

I’m highly concerned, and I consider it a personal cause of mine to call out the behavior online. Because it’s just blatant hate. Not just against women - it’s racist as well. I’m so concerned for the younger generations. That’s why I take the heat I do.

I didn’t know who Andrew Tate was until I started reading Reddit a few years ago - he seriously couldn’t be a bigger loser and he doesn’t even need to try
