I am sure there was a case in Australia where they let a woman go for stabbing a man because they couldn't rule out the possibility that he ran into the knife.

This reminds me of a case that I saw on one of those crime shows years ago where a woman killed her boyfriend cause he was threatening to leave her. She shot him 12 times in the chest and head killing him. And she actually tried to tell the police and in court that he committed suicide.

Like the Courtney Clenney case, she threw the knife at him in self defense. But somehow it ended up 8 inches deep into his chest cavity. According to a trauma expert if she threw the knife at the alleged range from a non-professional knife thrower it would of bounced right off
