Hi girls, I would like your guys input/advice in a situation. I did match with let’s call him guy 2 at a dating app. We talked a little, he was asking me questions etc, but at the same time I was already talking to guy 1 for almost a month and we decided to have the exclusivity talk. I told guy 2 that I was already seeing someone and getting serious with them that’s why I would quit the app and I hoped he could understand. I deleted the app, it didn’t worked out after a while with guy 1, then I broke up with him, cameback to the app and guy 2 was still there. I said to him “Hi, I’m back!” which I guess he realized it didn’t work out with the other.

He replied to me and we talked normally, exchanged numbers, had one date, but I feel there’s a wall between me and him now, as if he’s skeptical. Between our last date and now (2 weeks), I think he just sent me three messages? And he just asks like “hi, how’s your week been?” or general questions like this. I tried to engage and start to get to know him, and we talked this weekend in depth, but solely because I was the one questioning and making meaningful questions, he replied but then he just said back “and you?” Never coming with a real curious questions of his own.

We have a date next Sunday, but like, I don’t feel I want to see him again, because he’s not courting me, he’s not engaging, he’s not curious, and I feel like it’s because of the situation from the beginning. Besides that, he’s super extroverted and he takes action in a lot of things (based on my observation and our conversation), so he’s not shy or has no confidence. It’s exactly the opposite. How can I “fix” this situation? He had a lot of potential, but I’ve learned this means nothing, because he’s not giving me anything concrete in the present.
